Well Robinson wasn't a Wigan lad but was signed and brought through the Wigan academy, there are a few in there as well who are Wiganers who we did sign from other clubs but there are players in there who we did produce ourselves and people forget this. There is also Mick Cassidy as well missing off the list who was a very good servant for the club and he came through the academy. Yes we did sign players, but which club didn't? I suppose Saints didn't pay much for Newlove, Sculthorpe etc.. What about the Leeds team of 94/95? This was their starting line up in the cup final, how many of these players came through the Leeds ranks?

Theres 5 in the Wigan team then that came through the Wigan academy and apart from Francis Cummins in the Leeds team, there isn't any others who Leeds produced, Lowes was signed from Hunslet.

So does that not say more about Leeds than it does about Wigan?

I have respect for what Wire have done over the last two years and the way they play the game.
