| Maybe we should bitch and moan against the ref if it gets results. That's of course when we have mastered being able to complete a set and not pass into touch.

| One of the worst retting performances I've ever seen. But that was not the reason we lost, we were completley outplayed.

| Dont think we would have won tonight based on the performance. Age old problme of trying to force the pass (and not being able to cope with wet conditions) but as a real competition the ref spolit it. School boy play-ground rugby with a let referee ourselves would have resulted in a better flowing game (and with fewer screwups!)

Cant believe this. What about wire's second try, a direct result of a penalty that should have gone the other way? Clarke clearly elbowed the fat ginger lad in the head! The ref even spoke to Clarke about it after the try was given and he had seen it on the screen.
Still all the refs fault I suppose

| you can lay blame on everybody all week if it sooths the humiliation of yet another defeat at the hands of Saints, but the truth is you ain't good enough and Briers always goes missing against Saints, the one thing to look forward to is there must be a time when the law of averages dictates you must win!!!!!!!!!!

Who's humiliated? I'm not. I expected a defeat and that it what I got.
Tell you what, if we go back there in the semi final and actually beat Saints at the definitive last ever game at Knowsley Road, THAT will be humiliating. You'll be crying into your white lightning bottle for weeks if that happens.

| Quote: Saddened! "He was good tonight. Made the right calls in terms of the balance of play and the holding down etc.
He got three decisions wrong in the whole game IMO. One was where Myler didn't ground the ball and he didn't refer it to the video ref, which would have resulted in a Saints try. Then I think he may have evened this up by not referring the dropped ball for Flannery's try to the video either, as technically it may have been a tackle in the air, despite the fact Riley was never going to catch it. The third one was when he gave Warrington the scrum following the short kick off that was palmed 20 metres forward by a Warrington player before Saints knocked on.'"
what a tool

Why? Which of those don't you agree with? Which incidents do you think the referee got wrong?

| The ref gave a few bad decisions both ways, and yes they led to a few tries but Silverwood doesn't drop the ball or miss tackles, end of the day the ref makes a decision you suck it up and get on with it, we didn't and saints did simple as really

Happy first post!!!
and it was a good one
The ref was awful but at the end of the day Warrington didn't play well.
