I think this Saints injury thing is nonsense, everyone knows saints only care about preserving this record they have over us, so they just long term 'rest' players and keep them fresh for the Wire games

TBH I was shocked we renewed his contract a few months back. McCarthy was hyped up beyond belief on here before he made his first grade debut, he has had about 10 first team games now and has not lived up to it at all, even Mitchell and Blythe have both had their moments at Super League level.

I've watched Leigh many times this year when they've played on Thursday nights and he seems to struggle making an impact in the Championship.

he's probably played about 5 in total.

Just checked the SL website, he's played 7 Super League games, he played in the cup final last year too, so there's 8 without bothering to check the earlier cup rounds in 2009 or 10, or add the pre-season first team games he's played in.

These guys must have thought they would get plenty of game time this year, didnt McCarthy play at wembley last year? Shame for them.

Contrast my team, Wigan ,have had a bad time of it with injuries this year and have managed to give 6 acadamy lads first team debuts.

Fact is we've both got good depth in our squads and its hard to keep all the players in it happy.

From an outsider against saints I'd play the same team you did a Wembley, no Myler.

bridge at loose to act as a playmaker alongside briers myler monas and mathers. harrison at prop/second row when he comes on, same with solomona, wood at prop, clarke for one of briers myler monaghan and to flick back and to between half back and hooker.

dont know how people can say drop riley, hes got a hatful of tries and his partnership with atkins has really took off, same with kingy and hicks which is why i would put bridge at loose as the ball playing loose forward we need.
