What is it with you mate? Do you have a chip on your shoulder about something? The Wire fans are EQUALLY making coaching points about players' abilities etc as the Wigan fans are. Why is it only the Wigan fans comments that are irking you?

No problems here, 'mate', I'm just intrigued at this enthusiasm of you Wigan fans to come on here over the last couple of days....

We posted on this thread, discussing the Wigan game. We are holding conversations with posters who are replying to us and engaging with us.
That’s kind of the point of a forum.

Given his game plan on Friday, I hold my hand up you are right he shouldn’t be coaching

That’s what is successful in modern rugby league, there is no coincidence that teams that have won the Grand Final have all had wingers that make the hard yards. By the way, I never said that Wire’s wingers aren’t good to watch but they weren’t effective in the wet weather. Hence Powell introducing Russell for Thewlis.

| Well when Abbas Miski (an enforced change to the Wigan line-up) becomes a GF winning winger you can come back and say you told us all so. Until that point he'll have to make do with having had a decent game in a dominant Wigan performance that saw them massacre us by 7 points.

And when Warrington have won a GF you can come and tell me how your wingers contributed to your success. I just hope you live long enough to witness it.

FYI Wigan have been making the change of position during games tactically to get French to 1 and Field to 6. King has been moving to the wing and Cust has been phased out for longer and longer periods during games.
It was at this point it became obvious the move would be made longer term given this is when we started to tick as a team and score points. King like Miski was very effective on the wing for periods in games because he is another player that makes robust carries and big metres. You would be stupid to use a bench spot on a winger but it was always coming down to how is the team more effective. Is it with Cust in the team or Miski, it’s clear Cust was being phased to cover half and doing spells at 9. I think the form of O’Neil and Miski means he will struggle to get back in the 17 when everyone is fit.
Do you have to win a Grand Final to be considered a good player? Some very average players have been part of successful teams that have won Grand Finals….Gill Dudson for example.

Yep, we are definitely here to just have respectful RL chat and not to gloat over and mock Wire's inability to win a SL title...

| French is probably the best in every back position bar scrum half at Wigan.

It was mate until someone raised the question about Miski and the GF, you are being selective about what you read and comment on.

Do you think it might be something to do with the fact that our two teams have just played a game or that we're posting on an open forum on a thread entitled "tonight's game v Wigan"? I reckon it's a possibility. What say you?
And what's with the 'mate'? It's a perfectly ordinary way to address someone here In the rest of the world, even if it's seemingly unusual in your neck of the woods. Now you've seen it being used perhaps it won't seem so noteworthy the next time you come across it.
You really are quite a strange person, aren't you?

| Quote: wirecation "I keep hearing the calls for Mcguire to start prop rather than Kasiano but the fact is he is not a prop and has barely played many minutes this season as it is. To me there is no reason why Kasiano could not start. I agree he is best suited as an impact prop but St Helens Wolf’s post has it spot on. out 1-13 is arguably nearly full strength and we struggled from the off. Wigan had the better game plan full stop. There is some right guff talked on here about the players we have missing. If any of those had played on friday night i have no doubt the result would have been the same.'"
McGuire is listed as a prop on your website so Powell and the club must think he is. What would concern me is the lack of cover you have in the backrow.

| Maybe that's why we have him the 13 shirt for this season.
He's a loose forward covering prop because he can play there too.

Tell Powell and Fitzpatrick to change the website. There is no such thing as a loose forward in modern rugby he is a ‘middle’.
