| I'm starting to agree, he seems to have gone off the boil. Yet Wood keeps getting dropped but i don't understand why? Only heard the game on the radio but definately sounded like Wire of old where we just don't turn up sometimes. Sneyd missing 4 conversions absolutely blows my mind, have they all been on the during the week, lads night out? I didn't expect an easy game at all, but not to just be smashed out of the park like this.

| Gleeson can start earning his money as well because the attack is dire and very predictable. I actually find us a pretty unattractive side under Burgess.

It’s about time Burgess realised Jordy Crowther is not SL standard.
What did Max Wood do wrong to lose his place to Crowther?

| I'm still concerned that we've spaffed an overseas spot on Dan Russell who isn't even good enough to make the 18 man squad.

TBF the first 40 min was the best we have played this season . What's wrong in saying it's the highlight?. After the last couple of years we've had can you blame us ?.....

Yes Hull were clinical in finishing those tries and bossed us in the middle. We can't expect to ship in 5 tries in 40 minutes and win.

| Just watched the We are Wigan Warriors documentary, was a good watch. I look at us and think if we made a documentary it would be similar to Only fools and horses jolly boys outing. Del Boy shouting out next year we will be Grand Final winners.

Matty Ashton out of position for two tries. 1 try. The other was the sliding defence that was at fault. Ashton was left to cover the centre and winger on his own.

| That was a terrible first 40 minutes. The only positive being we had a better second half and didn't concede 50-60 points, which I feared at HT. However the game was already gone - we need to start games by blasting out of the traps.

| I watched the game yesterday and couldn't even be bothered to post until now. I'm totally out enthused with the way we are going this season. Yes we've had a few gritty wins and progressed in the cup but we simply haven't clicked like we did last year. Perhaps we over achieved last year? Did we not recruit well enough? Is there some underlying issue with Burgess? who knows.
The first have was absolutely atrocious. I bet Hull felt that Christmas had come early. In fact i'd put it down as worse than the first half in Vegas. We were sloppy. Hull were clinical but i wouldn't say they blew us away like Wigan did in Vegas. Second half we found a way back into it but time was always against us. Not many teams come back from being that far behind on the scoreboard.
Before the game i had a feeling this was a kind of banana skin. Hull obviously reeling after last weeks derby but to be fair they are playing better stuff than us at the minute and you could see the enthusiasm from kick off. Whereas we had absolutely none. It was similar to the Wakefield game. Until Burgess gets a grip of us i can only see us being around 6th position at the end of the season. There is a good chance Saints, Hull, Leigh and possibly Leeds could finish above us at this rate.
