| Quote WireWireWire="WireWireWire"Leigh needed that desperately. We didn't. However an with an extra man I thought they played the game in quite a mean sprited manner. And we took too long to wise up and give what we got. We dug in defensively and despite some pretty bad performances with ball in hand (King, Fitzgibbon, Taylor-Wray etc) we still looked mentally resilient.'"
I thought Fitzgibbon was brilliant, would never have known he had been out for so long. Taylor-Wray did nothing wrong, just never got any decent ball.
King was shocking and must have put it down 7 or 8 times.

Thete were a couple instances Taylor-Wray should have given the ball on and didn't but no he didn't do anything wrong as such. Just having been spoiled by Dufty for so long its glaring tbat we can't just slot him in as a 1-1 tactics wise. I thought Fitz looked pretty off the pace and we would have gotten more out of Nicholson. But then most of the team got battered for the majority of the game. King though yep, worst game I've seen him with his handling skills. Shocking

4 clear knock ons and one suss knock on.
I’d drop him though for Lindop.
But the biggest culprit….Vaughan again.

| Proud of the guts and effort with 12 men but we are massively dulled without Dufty. Plus having 2 centres that offer so little in attack is limiting us (as much as I like Tai). King stunk the place out.

| Adrian Lam described the Vaughan sending off as a bit of luck for his team in his post match Sky interview. A bit of an under statement.

I like the guy, but he just gives away the softest, dumbest penalties that keep costing us.
It’s so frustrating because he’s a superb prop outside his errors.
But he does it at the most decisive points in our season.
And yes, it pees me off!

Why was today dumb. Just because it’s a red card doesn’t mean it’s down to dumb play.

Warrington are the biggest grubs in the league and the ref saw through it all tonight, as soon as Vaughan saw red your players tried everything to get it scrappy, Thewliss stays down every tackle, Williams always moaning to the ref, Drinkwater trying to scuffle every tackle and Philbin dove forward as soon as he felt Hughes lift his leg. Your fans are just as bad booing every single tackle. Could of been a good game spoiled by a blatant shoulder to the head which has been consistently a red ALL year.
