I'm fairly sure I suggested Amor as a decent bit of balast to steady our wobbly pack a couple of years back. However, my memory of the last few years is a bit hazy, that Port n Lemon slow cooker recipe book I bought during the lockdown was a mistake.

Amor seems a decent addition due to the short-term nature of the deal. Not a brilliant player but an improvement on what we have until we get Dudson and Kasiano next year.

158m and 27 tackles against Cas in his one start for us this year. How many of your props do those numbers? He's no Luke Thompson, but he's very steady, 8m a carry type of prop. I'd suspect he'd want to prove Saints wrong as well and go out with a bang. |

Cooper, Philbin and Mulhern are GB/England international props who for some reason aren't playing to the expected standard. Amor is a steady, experienced prop who has spent the last few years as part of a grand final winning team. It doesn't have to be an improvement in class for a half-season deal, just an improvement in form over our current players. He's available, affordable and we've nothing to lose for five months.
