| Your kits are decent designs. Just a shame your main sponsor has a bright red circle as a logo, which doesn't go with the aesthetic. Not much you can do about that, the priority will always be a decent sponsor rather than a matching logo.

I'm used to it now and the red splash on the Blue looks good

| It's retro 1999.
Was an interesting season 1999, and doesn't get talked about much by the connoisseurs of history on this forum. After a rough few years it had a bit of a feel good factor, although we tanked at the end of the season.
I remember an exciting draw with Wigan, and this was the season when Briers started to show that he might be a player who could take the team on his shoulders (albeit only in patches at this point). The star of the season was Toa Kohe-Love who had his career best year. He was a pretty good player for a few years around that point but in 99 he was unstoppable, such superb balance when evading people at full speed. He never seemed to dive for the line. He reminded me of how Romario's goals always seemed to be rounding the keeper. Toa would step his way through the defence and then glide over the line and place the ball down in a distinguished manner.
Allan Hunte was the big signing of the season and people thought he was washed up and past it after a disappointing time at Hull but he was still quick and could go the length. With Hunte and Toa in the same team we could always damage teams from deep.
The excitement factor started to build around the same time that the team's performance tailed off, we signed Langer, which I remember as being a shock as he'd been linked with Wigan and suddenly he was announced as joining us, and we signed Gee and Nikau (who at the time was rated the best loose forward in the world at Melbourne Storm), plus our Academy team had either won or been runners up in the Academy championship, we had Mark Gleeson, Dave Highton, Ian Sibbit, Dave Alstead, Steve Maden, Gary Hulse, Paul Noone coming through. I think that was the first year I heard the "the future's bright, the future's Wire" cliche on a wire message board, have heard it every year since.
Also we had Peter Deakin who certainly didn't lack ambition, talking about how Warrington had the second most potential of any club outside Leeds and he wanted to make us like the Green Bay Packers (similar kind of stuff to what KF says now to be fair). Down the line we possibly discovered that Deakin wasn't quite as savvy a businessman as he was at selling a dream, but he did bring optimism to the club.

That’s twice in a week I’ve agreed with you. I’m not sure who should be more worried, me or you!
Yeah, the big red circle makes it difficult. Hoover have stuck with their original branding over the years, a bit like Ford motor co. etc. I think it would be better aesthetically if we had just the Hoover text in a larger emblem across the front. Or switched to Dyson.

I think this shirt is just about the Parra look. I don’t think we want a reminder of ‘99. We don’t talk about many seasons prior to 2009, except the 93/94 one where we could have sneaked the title. Even the best seasons of the 90s and 00s were stuck in the mould of false promises and unrealistic expectations. It was always fantasy-stuff and we deserved the ‘always your year’ moniker then far more than we do now. We were small-time and average and we knew it in our head. Was always nice to dream though.
These days we are always a top team, regularly winning trophies, and almost there with the big one. We just need to crack that particular monkey and we’ll start to win it on a more regular basis IMO. I’d certainly rather be here moaning about that than trying to convince myself that our bottom-half of the table team would somehow undergo a metamorphosis into a title-winning one.
Hopefully this shirt design will be remembered for the great 2022 team and not the ‘99 one

I’ll leave mine in there then.
Underwhelmed. I couldn’t stand the home 1990 ish type with the greenalls logo that was uglier than this big red hoover button.

| If they're made out of that awful shiny, sweaty, uncomfortable material, then I won't buy one regardless of how aesthetically pleasing they may be.

| I quite like the away one, it's just a pity there is no option to buy without the logo.

| Not that I would ever buy one (or like to see it crossing the whitewash at the DW) but I think both are really good kits

| The away shirt is actually starting to grow on me. It's not a traditional Wire top in any way, but I think it might look quite smart on match day. Probably not on my puny physique though.
