That would be my guess. All the younger players coming through will be told where they are in the pecking order and what they need to do to get to the next level so I would imagine Robson would be expected to get the nod. The only fly in the ointment is that it is only 1 game and would disrupt Widnes.

He isn't and could potentially go well there but King has actually played there before and went well so would be a less risky move. We'd need to shuffle centres though and I like Inglis at full back organising numbers etc.
The sensible thing to do is to recall robson and play him there or just play Jason Clark in second row that's pretty much like for like then anyway.

I suspect he'll go 3 props and ask Cooper to do some extra minutes. One of Sita, Philbin, Mulhern or Butler to be given the task for me

It's constantly mentioned about putting him in the 2nd row, anytime an injury or suspension it's immediately put King there. Why because he plays well there aswell. He's a centre and a great one that's getting better every year, leave him there.

BTW I'm not unhappy leaving King at Centre this week, it's a debate after all and our opinions differ which is fine but I'm not stressed about it. I certainly wouldn't move him if our first choice 17 was available and on form BUT it isn't and that's the difference for me. I'm not saying move him week on week a la Westwood,

We played around with Atkins swapping and the likes of Bateman has done it the other way it's very similar role these days especially if they're big enough and King is.

Play Davis or Robson in the back row.

Since we signed Rob Butler as the next up & coming forward ,i don't seem to have seen or heard much of him . Is he injured or not yet up to our exacting standards ?

With Hill, Cooper & Philbin fit & Mulhern only having missed one game I guess there's not been much opportunity for him, he's in competition with Sita for that 5th prop spot, Price must think Sita is ahead of him right now. He went a long tome with no games, maybe a loan deal with immediate recall option should be considered for him to get some games under his belt with the reserves not running.

With games on Monday and then Friday I would expect us to be using most of our available players some at point during the week.
