| I took my Dad 2 weeks ago for his jab at The Islamic Centre he just had a sore arm at the site of the injection, some tiredness, and a headache. He was alright after a couple of days though.
Took my Mum on Saturday to the local GP, no side effects.
Both had the AZ/Oxford.

| Yes some people do have mild side effects, but from what I've heard and read it's not all people and it is temporary.
Regarding opening of the stadium, if they allow spectators back in May - in limited numbers or more - I'll reserve judgment about attending until nearer the time.
There's so many things that can change betwen now and then.
BUT I personally know of people who have suffered and are suffering so as it stands I'd want more than 1 in 3 adults vaccinated - especially as I may not be by then.
For me personally (and it is a highly personal judgment) I won't risk my health for a rugby match - especially as many are likely to be shown on Sky.
No problem with others who take a different view - as I say it's a personal decision.

| I have to say, I’m nervous about going back. I’ve had a season ticket for a decade but there’s a good chance I won’t renew this year.
It’s all very well saying there’ll be covid safe measures in place. But where hasn’t said that in the last year? In reality, there’s been a great variance in how well they’re implemented. Like Fez, I won’t risk my health for a rugby match and I don’t know how well the stewards will react to a bozo who’s had a few pints and is over excited and getting too close. People sneaking out of their box to stand with their friends - are the stewards paid enough to want to wade into that argument?
Also, think of the logistics of sorting out distanced seating. Different sized bubbles wanting to sit together etc. I don’t envy them working all that out.

It won’t need to be distanced if the majority of people have had the vaccine by then.

| Lady doctor says on the radio, "restrictions maybe in place until end of 2021 when all adults will have had the vaccine" and we "won't have as many freedoms as we had in 2020"

| Covid cases in Warrington were 492 for the week to 7th February. If I remember correctly, we were in single figures during last summer, so there's a way to go before we can plan for crowds at games. The logistics of that may be rather difficult, and wont please everyone, but I'll take it as a positive problem to resolve, when the time comes.

| I suspect there will be little relaxation of social distancing until the NHS is able to provide a service again. Currently all the resources are directed at Covid and emergency patients. Then the issue will be which social distancing measures should be relaxed. Currently the Govt. is committed to a return for schools on March 8th and that will use up some of the 'relaxation allowance'. After that I would guess it will all be about the economy and which bits it should allow to return to normal. Although sport is a business, it's also a leisure activity so I would imagine attendance of crowds will be fairly low down on the list.
One final thought. Although in excess of 13m people have been vaccinated, the bulk of them are not that socially active. They are in care, in hiding because of their age and underlying health issues, or healthy but simply not as active as they used to be. So they are not spreading the virus like eg the 16-50 age group which is where we would get much better reduction of levels if / when we vaccinate. Vaccinating 20% of the population is good news, but it is mainly about saving lives and freeing up the NHS. We are only just starting to vaccinate the people that will significantly affect virus suppression.

| But isn't it these groups that are being vaccinated that are providing most fatalities ? Perhaps there is more tolerance to the virus in younger age groups that will help eventual herd immunity.

Not really no as the people who have received the vaccines first are the highly vulnerable so they were shielding anyway and as WO say's not socailly active.
