Quote Fantastic Mr Cat="Fantastic Mr Cat"well if no stunt bothered you, why do you keep using it as a stick to beat him with, aside from some small promos we did nothing last year with wolfie, if he was THAT bothered about social media and the brand, why did he/the club double down and go even harder on the stuff last year,
And whats wrong with him wanting to be one of the biggest sports brands in the world, is that not one area of his job?
i've no idea why he's still employed, i no longer support him in this position, but i'm not KF and i'm not the board, i dont know their metrics for keeping him on, maybe the 3 finals and one trophy has bought him considerable goodwill and they're commited to giving him one more crack., but if you go back to 2017, everyone and his dog was adamant KF wouldn't sack his former boss in tony smith, and he sacked him.
i dont see that the 2 are related though, you might as well be complaining that there weren't any large or XL home shirts in the most recent sale and why is steve price still employed by us.
Some people just don,t like him, and they haven't from the moment he got appointed, and they don,t actually know why, but its easier to just keep banging on about it than publicly change their opinion'"
Because I'm fed up with the acceptance of mediocrity year on year from the people at the top of the club. Tony Smith ended up staying a year or two too long even Paul Cullen did.
We don't have this ruthlessness like the other teams Leeds, Wigan and Saints and it's probably one of the reasons why we haven't been as successful as these teams and never won a Grand Final.
There's nothing wrong with waning to become one of the biggest sports brands in the world but this should be secondary to on the field performances and success. Wouldn't you agree? Everything should become secondary to that. I've met Karl and he's a decent bloke but do I think he's the right man for the job? No I don't.
I think the reasons for keeping Price on and probably for the reasons above. We are just to nice. By the way, on Tony Smith lets be clear he left by mutual consent - that's not the same as being sacked.
