I stopped taking you serious at this point. What a load of rubbish. It's a game at the end of the day & if you get so unhinged at things like this you have no place in a civil society.

You need to win 2 out of your last 5 games if you don't you might not be playing anyone in the play offs................it would be all over.

| As a Neutral, i posted well before the end, that we should be watching a top class rugby match, NOT the James Child show, his constant and shouting, and whistle blowing for petty misdemeanours was sheer lunacy. It was obvious he would lose control of the game, the crowd trouble was auwful, Women and kids subjected to that was inexcusable, no one can condone that, but the players and Childs have to shoulder some blame.

Yes, but we know your could was meant to be outside 2nd place when mathematically but unlikely you could go 6th.
On the ref topic, on the Friday night we had the worse referee so far this season with head shots, off sides and lying on galore, our Captain in Roby approached the ref with respect unlike Captain "Burst a blood Vessel" Smith.

Wasn't meant to come across as that but seeing as you know a lot about sod all we.ll leave it there...as for your point about captains I totally agree..but you do have players chirping in the refs ear..

And this is why it's not the refs fault.
You say he gave too many penalties causing the issue.
Others said he let too much go causing the issue.
He did none of the foul play and he did not storm the ramparts.

| Child sin binned 3 players in that match before it's farcical end. By the end of the match, he had shown 4 yellow cards and 2 red cards. That is almost unprecedented in a rugby league game.
If he had shown any more in the match, then no doubt Child would have been accused of "making it all about him". If players refuse to follow the rules and earlier punishments don't act as a deterrent - what can Child do?

| Spear tackle on Austin - Child's response "I can only give what I can see". How could he miss that?
McIllorum rips off Hill's head guard as third man in a tackle - Child's response "I can only give what I can see". Again how could he miss it.
On 60 minutes McIllorum (again) deliberately knees Clark in the head at the play the ball - Child's response "I can only deal with what i see". It is so obvious it's silly.
Given these snidey incidents going unpunished whilst Bird's Hollywood acting throwing his head back when tackled on his shoulder gets a penalty it is no surprise that eventually players look to take things into their own hands. Especially when you have seen three players likely to miss Wembley with ligament damage, ruptured testicle and fractured eye-socket from a ninja tackle, leading with the knee and dropping on the head with the knees respectively all from un-punished, in my opinion, foul play. It will be interesting whether the disciplinary review panel make of these "challenges".
Child is not fit for purpose as far as refereeing at the top level.
In no way am I linking the off-pitch scenes with the above - that's a combination of idiots and beer (probably on both sides).

| Quote Psychedelic Casual="Psychedelic Casual"James Child hang your head in shame - you created all that. The game spiralled out of control because you allowed Catalans to get away with horrendous tactics all game and your excuse was continually “I didn’t see it”!
Yet you saw and managed to penalise and sin bin Warrington players for high tackles, two of which were across the collar and one was under the arm pit.
He allowed constant second or third man purposeful knees in tackles by Catalans, constant second or third man purposeful landing on heads in tackles, knees in the face, ripping off head guards, head high shots by Catalans set after set after set after set all game and creating an air of violence.
It caused all the second half fighting, it caused the fighting in the stands.
I was after beating someone up I was so angry and I was only sat at home!
Catalans and McNamara are also to blame as it was their tactics to rough Wire up, as are the lads in the stands who didn’t have to fight. But it was all down to the referee and his officials allowing the dirty tactics by Catalans.
James Child, watch that full 80minites back and, as I said as the start, hang your head in shame!'"
Biggest load of one-eyed twoddle I have ever read. And I've read some of Jean's post.
Wire should be banned from RFL for life. Catalans should have all their points taken away and should be relegated to the Championship.
Any fan found guilty of fighting should be banned for life, should have their passports taken away.
Thugs, the lot of you. Anybody defending this should be ashamed.
Yes. Every one of you is a thug.

totally disagree, if your not getting the rub of the green by the ref it doesnt give you the right to start being houses in the game. The ref did give them the rub but wire should have stuck to the game plan and hurt them on the scoreboard instead.
