Is he still up for 'man of steel' or is it 'man of steal' now?

| Saints are doing similar to what we (Hull FC) did in 2016 - albeit they are further in front in the league we were. We had zero injuries relatively speaking through the year so we played the same 17/18 players week in, week out. Around the time of the semi final we were starting to lose league form, but managed to beat Wigan - and then we were scratchy leading up to the Final which again, we managed to squeeze through. After that, we crashed until the end of the year. Saints should have rotated much more, kept players fresh as I feel they could fizzle out now

| Wire blitzed the league in 2011. Absolutely destroyed every team in their way and ultimately won nothing and burnt out in the end. Looking forward to the end of the season.

It would be so sad if they fizzled out; what a shame it would be to miss out on another LMS goading celebration.
I feel bad for saying this, but does anyone else feel 'TOTALLY WICKED' after yesterday's events.

| There's two wonderful letters from Saints fans in today's RL Express relating to bias referees and foul play by Warrington. I can only assume they were meant for RedVee readership only and not the wider RL community.

| If the RFL ( and Super League ) have any sense they'll be working on discounted charter flights from Perpignan/Carcassonne/Barcelona to London to get as many French fans to Wembley as possible. I imagine there will be a good neutrals turn-out all of whom will support the Cats but would be cool to see a lot of genuine 'Sang-et-or' speccies in the ground. There was a great scene after our game yesterday as we were walking away from the stadium. A bunch of Les Cats were clearly staying at the ground's hotel and emerged delighted as Wire fans sang [iCatalans Ole Ole Ole [/ialong with them ( and our drummer!).

If correct, why is he being selected? Lomax to full back, Fages to stand off, Smith on the bench (or does Holbrook, the Messiah, have favourites) seems obvious.

Don't think the Cats fans were bothered either way. They just looked shocked, surprised and chuffed in equal measure to find the cup-final opponents celebrating the Cats achievement with them.

Those are the questions being asked in the post-mortem this morning no doubt. Holbrook is an inexperienced coach, a lot of Saints fans forget that and he's gone with a policy of playing the strongest players if they are passed fit medically. Yesterdays result could actually do Saints a lot of good as hopefully Holbrook will learn from it and so will Danny Richardson. Catalans were only ever going to play one way, but if the other team is composed and aware, it's pretty easy to nullify. Saints just tried to score with every play, moving it wide too quickly and panicking because of the line speed. Four or five one out drives and a kick to turn them around would have been all it took to take the wind out of Catalans.
Holbrook should be resting/dropping Barba. But imagine the Saints fans reaction if he does that and we got a 30 point duffing off Catalans? He'd be on a bonfire on Sherdley Park. Those are the kind of decisions a more experience coach would make. Saints can still win the Grand Final, but I suspect it's a year too early for Richardson and Holbrook.

| I’ve quite enjoyed seeing Richardson develop this season (with my international cap on) but yesterday was a big backward step and he looked as though he has taken temperament lessons from Danny Brough, seemed to be shouting at the ref at one point after a Catalans try.
