If I understood you correctly, you rated Johnson and Cullen ahead of TS...what sort of state were we when Johnson left? Weren't we in freefall and just got beat 80-0?
When Cullen left we were flat and losing regularly with the bulk of a side that TS went on to win 3 Challenge Cups with.

As for the team going so well now - surely that's partly due to Price inheriting a good squad that TS had built, in the same way that TS inherited a squad from Cullen/Lowes (not that it was achieving much under Cullen/Lowes).

Anyway on the Leeds job, Kevin Sinfield seems the obvious choice. Lowes....the jury is out. I think they will struggle to replicate the success Brian McDermott had.

I'm wondering whether Lowes has been given a role because Sinfield doesn't have the required coaching qualifications?

In what universe did Cullen do better than TS.

TS won three Challenge Cups, two League Leaders Shields and made three Grand Finals.
We didn't come close to winning a trophy under Cullen. In his last full season we didn't even make the playoffs and at the point he left we'd lost 6 of our last 7 games. TS won a Challenge Cup in his first season.

So Cullen is better than TS because Cullen built the team....TS won three Challenge Cups with it and Cullen didn't come close to winning a trophy with it. In fact with the "Cullen team" that you are probably referring to, which had Morley, Monaghan, King, Hicks, Louie Anderson and co, Cullen didn't even have us in the playoffs.

Cullen as the header, or title index, as in....."Excuse me, I'm looking for TS?...."
"Ok! You'll find him under Cullen" as it's his team...not he's under Cullen as he's not better.
