| Quote: Alffi_7 "Weird one with him, he didn’t come on at all in the first half as you would expect him to, then when he did come on lasted less than ten mins I think before limping off. Just wondering whether he carried an injury in to the game, or picked one up during the warm up and we decided to risk t?'"
He spent more time on the bike than on the pitch, could be a possibility he was carrying a slight injury, and yes he was limping when he came off.

| Good performance for the most part, defence especially.
We went off the boil at times in the second half. Just doing silly things with the ball. But overall a good display.
Thought Clark was immense, Hill and Roberts too

| This is the 1st time we have defeated Wigan at home in a cup game since 1935.
The last time we nilled Wigan was in 1935 (9-0)
Josh Charnley scored his 200th try of his league career.

| Don't know if this has been discussed but why were Warrington denied the conversion points after Brown's try.
Is there no redress?
Thank goodness the game was not close or Warrington would have been incandescent.
It clearly hit the left upright and bounced through ... everyone could see it..
Scandalous.

I‘ve not got a problem with it. It is impossible to see whether that went through the sticks, over where the post was, moved the posts so far it didn’t go between where the posts were originally...

It hit the post and came inwards, for me it was 2 points.

I’m relatively new to rugby league, and so really am not an expert on the rules, but what do you mean by this please? I’ve freeze framed it, and from where the ball was kicked and the angle of where it landed it would be physically impossible for it not to have come off the inside of the post and gone over the bar. Is there some rule that even if the ball hits the post and goes over the bar inwards the kick can be disallowed if it moves the original position of the post in some way? If it was disallowed as simple linesman error I’ve got no problem, we all make mistakes, I’m just wondering if there is some rule on this I’ve never been aware of, particularly as apparently Bentham as video ref said he wouldn’t have overruled the decision if it had been referred to him.

I'm pretty sure it went through but I don't think it changes the laws of physics Jim!
Could the ball have hit the bar with power and could have put increased spin on the ball to go tight around the invisable extended post....like a the spin on a soccer ball and fall back within the post plane?

| I wonder why Goodwin took over the kicking when Livett was doing so well?

Think Livett was off the field at that time.

| Yes it was a goal. If you look where it bounced and the angle of the kick it could not have been anything else. I'm just glad we didn't need rely on it.
