| Surprised Lineham didn’t get MOM,not because he scored 3 tries, he was good all round, then again match day sponsors who probably didn’t even watch the game choose it.

| Couldn’t make the game tonight, annoyingly only finished work late. Good to hear it was a good night, we're on The right track it seems.
Seen a few posts about a hit on Pauli; who made the hit?

| Quote lefty goldblatt="lefty goldblatt"The good
Some nice stuff played in parts. As good as I've seen since '13. We took a few risks. Akuolo (sp) ran hard, and we backed up well.
Some good performances in the pack
Stick that in your pipes, Lineham knockers. Try scorers are worth their weight in gold, even if they do drop the odd testicle.
Not patronising here, but we'll done Wakey. They came to play rugby, not just spoil, as they've done in years gone by.
The bad
The Kings....not good enough at this level. The mayor was right.
Our 5th tackle kicking was a disgrace
M.Brown. Decent with ball in hand. ATROCIOUS without
The ugly
Child. Just wtf was he about, tonight. Missing glaring mistakes/penalties. The worst 10m line in history. At one stage it was about 7, the next, 15. Desperate to keep the game tight, at all times. The standard of refereeing has never been so low.'"
Agree with all except the king bashing, thought both were fine tonight really. Lineham definitely doesn't get the credit he deserves, he never shirks anything, he misread one catch in to touch but other than that I thought he was the best player on the pitch tonight.
I really enjoyed the game tonight, agree fully re wakey I think they were the better side but we punished almost every mistake. BMMs try was something to behold and Sitas run front their 2nd half KO. We have the magic moments in this team i'd just rather we didn't have to rely on individual moments of magic.
Child is a disgrace.

Agreed he has been fantastic this season so far. Westwood again was awesome, I must admit I had written benny off, I was wrong.

| Westwood was magnificent tonight, but oh for a couple of half backs who can break open defences with side steps & changes of direction. Really entertaining tonight & up to very near the end you could have expected Wakefield to nick the game...well done to both teams. I think you would expect young Akiola to spend a bit more time on the pitch though.

Spot on all of this. King brothers are good squad players. George isn’t the biggest prop but does a decent shift. Toby was drifting inside when defending last night which wakey were targetting. A number of forum members just like to moan and groan despite when we get a win, don’t know Why some bother going the game tbh!!

Aww mate, set the scene.
Antony England (of all ppl) did 33 minutes straight for them. Did OK for them as Wrll, a lot of hit ups.
They subbed him, fot Pauli Pauli who's a bit, must easy over 19 stone and then some. His legs are HUUUUGE.
His first run is a monster, Philbs shot out the line and got bounced off good style, And it was worrying.
Their next set, he ran a bit wider out and went straight into Bmm, who ing picked him, up like he was Luke Robinson and dumped him, flat on his back.
I was worried child was going give a own fot a dangerous throw as he's already given a random one for that. It was amazing.
Pauli Pauli spent thr rest of the game hiding and not wanting to take the ball in, And hitting our players after we'd passed the ball. Proper lazy.

Them gaps in the first half were on the other side of the field from me so couldn't see who was at fault. Tony king put a shift in during the second half, even after taking a knock.
That being said, I don't think Toby and tyrone is a great defensive partnership

Excuse me, why is having a view or a point a moan, oh I get it it’s because it doesn’t agree with your view it then becomes a moan. If someone doesn’t like X player but you think he as done ok well fair enough just say so. Don’t call people moaners just because it’s not your view. BTW this is not directly aimed at you because a few do it on here when some have ago at certain things and they don’t agree with it MOAN MOAN MOAN lmao.
Ps T.King was poor and for that reason he made M. Brown look bad, my view not a moan.

Wakey creates overlaps both sides, I'll have to watch again but I thought it was just them flooding the flanks, my thoughts were that both halves and Scott grix all attacked the same side making up to 6 on 3, maybe wrong about the personnel but they had clearly identified that we defend with a very rigid structure, which to be fair I expect most teams do. Enterprising stuff from Chris Chester and it definitely bears fruit. In the first half we didn't get to grips with this so I would say the players at fault were further in field rather than the edge players who were outnumbered. Our coaches clearly had words at half time and our flanks were exposed less. I thought wakey left points on the pitch last night, they should have scored 3 sets on the run in the second half and then we give them a sucker punch with the Cooper try.
They contributed massively to a very entertaining game IMO they seemed to have attacking intent every set, great to watch I am sure they will have a good season and good luck to them.
