Shaun Wane is the Wigan mentality personified - blinded by self-importance, bombastic, insular and with a superiority complex only lessened by a rampant paranoid persecution complex
His comments about Saints in the build up to their game last year laid bare his true psyche, and instantly swung neutral opinion against him. Of course, they don't care and it all fuels their "Everyone-hates-us-we-don't-give-a-stuff" mantra but if he really thinks Wires pretending to be Wigan is going to undermine his prep then they are clearly already lining up their excuses.
