| Quote dubairl="dubairl" be interesting to see what happens if leeds get the call as they always use it as a motivation tool either way i can't see leeds making it this season.'"
leeds had the club call in 2009, and went about it with little fuss. As did saints in 2010. Both teams that just got on with it and ended up at old trafford.
I don't beleive the club call is as big a factor as anyone makes it out to be, the game is to get to old trafford so teams are highly motivated. Everyone always picks the lowest ranked team regardless. The club call didn't fire leeds up in previous years, the feeling of getting to old trafford again did.

| Cant understand why people slag Brough off, when he's been the best hb in SL this season. He's also possessed great ability, just in the past, his off field antics have got the better of him. Now, at Hudds, he's finally showing his full potential. Only Sinfield has a better kicking game in SL.
Ps, whoever loses the Wire/Leeds game, will have the better chance of getting to the final. Having a break, does teams no good, momentum is needed. Wigan will find this out next week.

| Quote shambawangy="shambawangy"You must be joking, he ran his bloody to water for 90 minutes and must have made 40-50 tackles, he let brough past for the break but his inside defender should have been tighter, he was our MOTM by a mile
Im guessing you would be happy to have Hudds in the semi's (via club call) if you both get there?'"
All them tackles were 3rd man in though.

| the mickey mac love in is similar to the sam tomkins thing. Currently tomkins is the second best full back in the world. "I genuinely believe that " was a shaun wane quote.... if they get Bowen next year they'll soon reappraise that....similarly with mcllorum, when the get a good hooker they'll finally realise he's garbage.
im suprised phil clarke didn't pick up on mickey macs late swinging arm challenges hes normally so observant.....!

The reason why people slag Brough off was plain to see last night. he falls apart when put under pressure.

| No half back, no matter how good, can operate behind a beaten pack. After the first 15 minutes, Wigan forwards started to dominate, and Brough was always under pressure with his kicks etc. I don't like the guy particularly as he seems to sulk when things aren't going well, but don't judge his skills whilst operating behind a team being pushed backwards.

Third man in usually.
McIlorum apart, very good win by wigan though. Once again I was impressed by Scott Taylor and thought Ben Flower played well, although that tackle attempt on him by Crabtree was pathetic. I was convinced that Crabtree was injured last night.

| Correct McIlorum invariably third man in the tackle and aims for the knees, usually against the joint...He's a nasty piece of work.
