Hull were immense today both on and off the pitch . If we would have snuck that game at the end ,although it pains me to say it,that would have been an almighty injustice . Whiting was quality and him being introduced at fb was probably the turning point.

I'm disappointed rather than gutted, and I don't say that to be churlish to Hull, who deserved it and who I hope go on to win. It's just that after the Grand Final last year I would have traded the Challenge Cup for the SL Trophy and for me the priority for this season is to try and win SL. I don't know if going out of the Cup will help that but it certainly won't make it harder.

Well that says something about either the standard of reffing in general, or how many games you actually watch. Either way it was a poor show, but it's far from the first time this season.

Must also say, watching the game on TV several hundred miles away it looked a better atmosphere than I've ever seen for a Huddersfield game. Normally that stadium depresses me.
