I've never known the gutting feeling of losing a big name player, if only i could have grown up watching Gregory at Central Park or Sculthorpe at Knowsley Road or even a player like Harris at Headingley.
The fact is it happens and Myler if he goes to Aus wouldn't bother me, in fact i'd be happy for him as i would anyone who had a dream to play there.

My beef with Offiah is basically he's a muppet that seems to have become a voice for our game, yet shows no love for it, he gives with one hand and scoops it away with his hand on a joystick of a JCB with the other.
His knowledge of the game all considering is poor and listening to him on Sky and Talksport is embarrassing.
I hate the guy and have for a long time, that he is the agent of a player i admire is just an unfortunate coincidence.

You really are a very bitter little man. Have you never thought that Myler might want to move to Warrington to have a chance of winning something? Who, from Warrington, is saying that we're hard done to? No-one on here and no-one at the Club. This is a thread created by some anonymous person tweeting a rumour that he's probably created himself, so why even discuss it at this stage?

No to both counts, as was mentioned it was tweeted by a usually good and correct source in Aus that Myler is looking for a club there.

No bitterness from me Pal... Of course I thought Myler could want to move to win something... I have no issue with a player moving for ambition, but it never felt like that. This always felt like it was for the benefit of the agent rather than the player. He pushed and pushed to get that move through... and belittled any offer Salford put on the table... Why ? Because he knew where he would get the better cut. That's the business he is in. I accept that Warrington is a more appealing proposition than Salford when it comes to winning things... That's where the money was.... and Martin knew it.

You can't make that assumption any more than we can about the £250k saving your club from oblivion.

As for people moving for money/agents forcing them.

Get used to it...there's...going to be....8 players...joining your club...for that reason only............next seas......on.

Unfortunately, that's the nature of agents, they are in it to make money. I haven't the faintest idea as to how moral / immoral this one is, but providing he remains within the 'law' there is not much Salford or Wire can do about it. Ratchford has quietly signed a contract extension with us this year and I wouldn't mind betting that the club are talking to Myler with the same intention. If I were Myler I would be interested to hear what an Oz club would be prepared to offer - it makes sense to look at your options before signing with anyone.

Finally, reading the posts, I think most Wire supporters on here have been fairly philosophical about losing him. He would be a big loss, but these things happen and you have to move on. It might be a reason that there are rumours circulating about Wire and Brierley.

As has been pointed out by others, 'what goes around comes around'. We know you have an irrational hatred of Warrington but your sadly vitriolic outpouring of ill-will fails to take into account the fact that we suffered the loss of lots of players in this way - from Andy Gregory through Brian Case and Ian Potter through to 80s megastars Sculthorpe and Harris, just to name a few. Now that the Koucash cash is with the Red Devils no doubt you'll be dishing out similar 'hurt' to other clubs.

Neil Courtney leaving for Central Park was far worse for me than Case or Potter. Harris' departure was inevitable as was Scully considering the state the club was in. Myler leaving for Salford for Warrington (for almost 300k supposedly) falls into the same bracket as Scully. He was always going to leave, the only question was where to and for how much? Perhaps Salford are alredy looking at reversing the deal now they have money to burn.

My impression of the Myler deal from Salford's perspective (all be it looking from the outside) seemed to be thanks for the money oh by the way you've paid a lot of money for the 'wrong one' and yet it was all a bit acrimonious.

You are correct... what goes around does indeed come around... But I don't agree with it. I'm not overjoyed about my club conducting this practice... I'd much prefer to win nothing for 10 years and build a great system where we nurture our own players with the odd star thrown in for good measure... similar to Leeds and Wigan.

And... BTW... My hatred in by no means irrational.
