A mate of mine managed to get a student ticket for the east stand this morning, but the bloke next to him was told it is "completely sold out"...

Isn't the west the bigger of the two anyway? We were in that end last game of last season and if memory serves, there was 50-100 Wire fans in the east due to us selling out the west, confuses me to why Widnes haven't done the same this year |

Probably me who was stood next to him 
Woman serving said they could sell the few remaining east stand tickets as concessions (Student/OAP/Junior) but not as 'Adult' ...... which seems ludicrous ..... As I needed an adult & a junior, I opted for West stand ...... |

I don't think we sold out the West last year because we turned up on the day and got in there, although we did have to go to the ticket office first and buy tickets because there was no cash turnstiles.
If you really want to be in the West with your mates your best bet is probably to go to the ticket office before the match and ask them if they'll let you swap your ticket.

Widnes reporting record combined ticket sales of 1,500 yesterday. I imagine a good chunk of them were sold by ourselves!

The West Stand is the Lower House Lane (scoreboard) end. |

Lowerhouse lane is the new scoreboard end.
Vetrans of Naughton Park will remember that the scoreboard end was what is called the East Stand now.
