Why is finishing fifth doing 'naff all' in the regular season of play? They were better than 9 of the teams in the league and finished well within the play off limits - 5/8? We finished just ONE loss behind third place. We weren't better than 4/14 teams, which is why we didn't win the league, and didn't deserve to. However, we won the Championship by being better than 7/8 teams - and that we did deserve. I do wonder, if we finished 4th and still won what people would say the play off system needed to be changed to, then.

Anyway, congratulations Wire on a fantastic season. I loved the game and was terrified about it going either way until the last few minutes. People underestimate how pressure affects a game, and Leeds had the invaluable experience to pull them through it - but Wire will be back up there, and with that experience who knows what you're capable of? Also, thank you for all the great fans I met and spoke to. If we'd lost to you I wouldn't have been devatasted like I would if we'd lost to Wigan - you and your fans deserve it.

The thing is, if it were that easy, someone else might actually do it once in a while. It's all well and good saying you only have to get yourself up for 3 games, but if you're not good enough to beat those teams, you can be as 'up for it' as you want, but you won't win. This is a quality side, make no mistake about that.

Thanks to both teams for a very entertaining game & well done to Leeds. I am more than pleased with our season & look forward to more top class entertainment next year .

It was a great day out, unfortunately Leeds were the better team on the day and stopped us playing our usual style of rugby.

And I have to say I was proud to be a wire, a part from the odd bit of trouble in the stands, the standing ovation when the Warrington players left the pitch after a hard loss was fantastic to see, plenty of Warrington fans stayed behind.

Onwards and upwards!

Wire players hold your heads high and proud, challenge cup winners, 2nd in the league and grand finalist aint too bad now is it.

Wire fans hold your heads high (most of us anyway) and be proud that you've supported a fantastic team through a fantastic year.

All in all a great end to a season and one hell of a highlight to keep us gripped till next year.

I'm 47 !!!

Our best player, comfortably, for mine. His game has matured incredibly this season.

If we'd won i had Myler as MoM, he looked hungry, supported everything went through every gap he spotted.

For those criticising Leeds; don't. It is the system that is at fault, not the team. Quite simply, any system that can allow a side finishing in the bottom half of the table a crack at the playoffs, beggars belief.

In my humble, it needs to be a top five/six, with greater reward for finishing top.
