Go easy, Wire fans aren't good with GFs. It's all very alien to them.

| let be honest here.. wigan fans have probably sold their allocation... but saints fans probably don't fancy coming to watch their team get a bit of a thumping in a cup semi final.

| Same crap every year, we had it when we played Wigan in 2009. How many came on here saying that it should be at a bigger venue than the stobart and rugby league should looking to fill 20k stadiums. The people who make the decisions are those who see the ticket sales, week in, week out and know what the travelling support of most teams is. The biggest issue is that rugby league fans can't or don't want to pay for tickets for games such as this, they demand the prices be low working off the premise that cheaper equals more people, which it doesn't.

| I don't see the problem, forget all the crap we get regards it's made of Lego blah blah, it's a great RUGBY stadium.
Better still if we had standing behind the sticks rather than the South.

| Does it really matter. Obviously if there are still tickets available (although from what I heard the RFL have just a handfull left) anybody who wanted one will have got one. It means a cracking atmosphere in a (virtually) full stadium. Lets hope the game lives up to the standard of the last cup game played at the HJ

| Got to admit, I was surprised even a few isolated tickets were left yesterday, but I think you will find it will be full on the day and a cracking atmosphere will be had by all there.
I was sure that Saints were originally supposed to be only getting half the North Stand and the full West Stand with Wigan getting a larger allocation of tickets, because they had considerably more season ticket holders than us. I am aware Saints fans will now also occupy 2 / 3 blocks in the East Stand as well, so I think there will now be only a small difference in fans on the day.
To those with short memories, we had the same fuss about the Halton Stadium not being big enough the other year when Warrington and Wigan were in the semis, I fairly sure that there were hundreds of tickets left for that game...
As for fan bases, Warrington have come a long way from your 4500 crowds at Wilderspool and that should be applauded, but you are still a huge way behind Wigan’s home crowds and your crowds are usually lower than Saints crowds, this year you may have larger crowds, but any posters over the age of 11 years old, should at least acknowledge our low crowds are due to playing away at Widnes, I am fairly sure next year playing back in St Helens, we will again have bigger home crowds, saying that I do not think Saints or Warrington will match Wigan’s home fan base in the near future.
