I fully understand the scepticism but (1) Owen was playing on the wing before his injury and (2) we look like having even less back cover at the Jungle next season than this. IMO there won't be many better British backs than Mathers available this summer so Cas would be wise to get someone with his versatility while they can. |

Mathers will also bring lots of positives to the changing room and training field.
From some of the stories coming out of Cstleford this season it would seem the qualities Mathers will bring to these are required just as they appeared to be at Warrington when he signed for us.
