| Quote WalterWizard="WalterWizard"Stop talking nonsense man for once. IF the performance against France isn't good enough then come back then with your moaning, but until the game has taken place then for God's sake take a hike
'"
It is not about the result against France!
The france game is preperation for the biggest game since the WC against the aussies, if we played Tomkins and McGuire in this game then they would be much better off for the game against the aussies, infact the whole team would benefit.
Please someone try and justify this decision. How do I talk nonsense, go on I dare you to justify Smiths decision.
Myler might have a great game and score a few tries but thats not the point, Tomkins did that in the last game when they both played and should be playing in this game as preperation.
Myler selection is simply a perk or signing for wire.

You failed to mention his record in relation to previous coaches? People for years have moaned about youth not being given a chance or coaches going with the same old players, well Che is trying to blood new players. I agree that Tomkins should be in there but Myler had earnt his stripes against the French last time, granted that Myler was awful against the Welsh possibly with him not having played for 3 months.

David Waite IMO was heading GB in the right direction, the last coach IMO who made the correct selections based on performances rather than reputation. That was also when we had any realistic chance of winning test series against the Aussies, even though we didn't win any of them we was more closer then than what we are now and alot of the good work was down to him.

So the answer to his question was "I cant".

Nowhere near as bad as Smiths disaster as the 50 plus record in Melbourne last year. Never ever been so embarassed being an England fan, I can actually say that as I was there. We was lucky to just beat PNG ffs!

| IMO i think tomkins should start ahead of myler, bench is weak carvell should be in instead of westwood but im aure the team will be diffrent for the oz and NZ games
cant see us losing againts the frogs though, so take the win and improve what we are missing

tbh I think Westwood should be there, IMO Carvell should be in ahead of Eastmond. I fail to see what impact Eastmond can bring when I can't see him taking off McGuire or Myler. I also worry with Eastmonds size against a big French team, he often goes into hiding and makes easy excuses to try and come off the pitch if things aren't going his way.

You can't blame Waite for that, the players didn't want to go and was at the wrong time of year. Read Rads book, he has the upmost respect for DW. I'd much rather take notice of a highly respectable player rather than a fan of the game.
