Good bet that, We are the underdogs by a country mile ,Huddersfield form leading up to the CC final and before has been outstanding there position and our position in the league doesn't lie or have p&b specs on,We will have to rely on Huddersfield freezing on the day and us stepping up 10 levels our league form has been nothing short of pathetic and if we hadn't done as well in the CC I presume people would have been calling for Smiths head by now !

Quote: Saddened! "Why? You're what 9th or 10th in Super League? You've won about 50% of your games with Tony Smith at the helm, including the CC byes?'"
50% under Smith this season is more than 0% under Lowes this season.

Quote: Saddened! " It will also be interesting to see how their defense copes with the wide open spaces of Wembley '"

Not this again.

Wembley pitch 115 yards by 75 yards = 8625 sq yards
Galpharm pitch 115 yards by 76 yards = 8740 sq yards
HJ pitch 120 yards by 74 yards = 8880 sq yards

We've also won exactly 50% of league games since Smith was appointed.
Oh, and 100% of our cup games.

Quote: sally cinnamon "Typical biased Yorkshire bumpkins, we've been better than Hudds all season'"

Hudds in 4th, Wire in 9th
Quote: sally cinnamon "we're in better form than them'"

Both lost last two but before that Hudds won last 6 league games, Wire only won 3 in the prior 6.
Quote: sally cinnamon " momentum is a huge thing in sport and there's no doubt that its going the direction of the Wire.'"
erm. see above
Quote: sally cinnamon "

Prediction Hudds will be in the game for the first thirty minutes then we will accelerate away in the second half and possibly two or three late tries to Hicks and King will exaggerate the scoreline.'"

on the basis that you've the 7th best attack and 10th in defence whilst Hudds have the best defence and the third best attack.

Add to this that Huddersfield at the best team away from home this season and Warrington the 11th best team.

Good luck anyway!

Sally was being sarcastic. Admittedly, you can't be expected to know that, but I guarantee he wasn't being serious.

You can tell he is being serious - it will normally be when he is slagging off Warrington.

Quote: Saddened! "Huddersfield are a much better side than Warrington. You aren't struggling to make the play offs because you're a great side and IMO there has been little improvement since Smith came in, even though you worship him. They should beat you comfortably, but as neither side have ever won a final in their SL history it's hard to predict anything about the game.

Warrington have a few very experienced players who could make a huge difference. Morley, Monaghan and King in particular have played in huge games before and their calming influence and Morley's leadership could be the deciding factor IMO.

Huddersfield's team ethic alone is enough to get them through most weeks and whilst their wrap around defense is by far the best defensive system in the league, they're also far better than Warrington with the ball too. But Hodgson aside they have no big game characters who will stand up and lead the troops if things go against them. It will also be interesting to see how their defense copes with the wide open spaces of Wembley and the heat if it's a hot day.

I'm going for a Wire win by 10 but it wouldn't surprise me at all if Huddersfield dominate the game like they did in the semi against Saints.'"

If form is to go by we will be crushed. But it isn't.

It is one game over 80 mins. Two side's with good talent and a powerfull pack.

The form guide means squat to either side. It will be very evenly contested.

I think 10 in it either way.
