always use the toll myself but when i get to the end of the M6 i usually come off and go down the A14 past Kettering and use the A1 not the M1, more picturesque, more places to stop, less traffic.

25 miles further but just like the toll road it's worth it.

Night I take it? 2 and a half hours is bordering on impossible to do on a Friday. I'd hate to see you Wire fans ruining your big day out before you even got there through irresponsible driving.

190 miles from HJ to Wembley Stadium average speed at 2.5 hours is 76 miles an hour. If it's clear easy, but i agree Friday is the worst traffic day of the week.

I wouldn`t go bragging about going down in the Laws Jag, 4 1/2 hrs to Watford, quicker on Bike

Leaving Friday about 11.00 if I can get the family moving. I always avoid the M1 and go M6, M6 toll, M42, M40. M25 etc.
