It's blame Briers day / week / month / year.

You've got to realise that anyone who comes to Warrington is a world beater before they sign and cr@p afterwards.

Why don't we make a list of everyone at the club including the tea lady and just say they're all cr@p and have done with it.

I suppose then we'd have nothing to moan about.

here we go again lets blame briers......fact is that the forwards gave us nothing on saturday and didnt give us any oppourtunities to play in the backline....forwards knocking on on play 2, centres throwing forward passes through their legs on 1st tackle, 2nd row giving away high shots when we restricting yards....these are the reasons why we are losing not because of one individual!

See, what I don't get is that if Briers was such a problem, how has he managed to survive 10 years at the club, under now his fifth different coach? Surely one of them along the way would've got rid?

Who thought he was going to be some sort of new Darren Lockyer at fullback. I'm not sure his opinions pass the sanity check.

I've always said if the forwards are having a near-perfect day, Briers won't put a foot wrong. Guess that goes to show how high the forwards have to perform for Briers to be noticeable on the pitch.

Which halfbacks do you think dominate on the back of limited go forward & a high turnover of possesion early in the tackle count ?

Probably none, but then you have the likes of Danny Brough and Mick Dobson who actually...whats the word...TRY to be creative with half an opposition's pack running at them.

Briers in his current form cant seem to do that.

Spot on, this is what I have said many times on this subject. He was club captain for God's sake!

People say he must be the issue as he is the one constant through our last 10 years of under-achievement, yet for me, that is to his credit, as at times he was playing in some dire teams. I've no doubts he could have moved.
