Whilst brushing up on your spelling and grammar, you should check your history books too, as this wasn’t in 1902.
Saints fans need to cling to the 95 RT Semi, as it’s the only time in 7 attempts in the last 40+ years they have beaten us in a semi or final. And lest we forget, even in that RT, they then went on to lose the final (though it wasn’t as bad as the 27-0 defeat they famously suffered at Wembley). We will likely see this year whether their big match victories over Halifax and Salford have been enough for them to finally shed their ‘bottlers’ tag.
It’s interesting when you take the longview to see what a non-entity Saints were before WW2. Most of the other big clubs of today, such as Wire, Wigan, Leeds, Hull (despite some blips), have been prominent throughout the game’s history. Even at the time of the breakaway, Saints were considered more like one of the second class clubs. Whilst this fact is probably not that well known today, it makes you wonder what impact this context has on the culture and mindset of a club.
In many regards, Saints have more historically in common with other smaller clubs who rose to prominence in more recent times, like Widnes and Bradford. I guess time will tell whether Saints have permanently made the move to join the big clubs, or whether like those two, we will see them fall back into their ‘usual’ position.

So the fact that saints won more championships prior to ww2 than either leeds or warrington doesnt count i suppose

PMSL. Err, no. Are you actually disputing that part of my comment? Prior to the 50s Saints has appeared in one Championship final, failed in all 3 challenge cup finals, and only had 3 Lancs based titles. Compared to the level of prominence of Warrington, and Leeds (despite competing with up to 3 other town teams and soccer), this is nothing to shout about. Alongside club honours, you need to consider things like international and county reps, and involvement in the running of the game.

But you cant pick and choose timescales to measure success you have to look at the whole history of the game, prior to 1960 aston villa were the most successfull club in football so does this make liverpool and united "non entitys"
Wigan went 27 years without a championship and leeds 32 but along with saints those clubs have had far more success than warrington, you might not like it but its a fact
Warringtons trophy count since 1895 puts them in the third tier of successfull clubs alongside the likes of swinton, huddersfield and halifax and if you just go off championships they are probably in the fouth tier keeping company with widnes, salford and featherstone and until you win another 5/6/7 league titles this will not change and neither will peoples perceptions of warrington as a small club with a big mouth
