| We’ve got progressively worse since April this year and it’s no surprise the crowd was less then five and half thousand tonight. I was sat a few rows in front of Karl Fitzpatrick and he looked just as fed up as the rest of us. The quality and style of rugby is boring and so predictable, rather then five drives and kick it’s developed into five drives and a pass into touch.
Fortunately for Price that Challenge Cup win will enable him to keep his job next year, unfortunately I’m seriously doubting renewing my season ticket with him at the helm. I’ve more entertained watching our PDRL, Women’s & academy teams.

| I have to say we are definately getting duller and less creative as time goes by. I would like to say that's because we're defense orientated.......but our defense is poor so can't use that one. Next year is the decider for me, if we can't do much with Widdop in the team a new Prop and centre then tactically i'll fully blame price and i'll walk him to the door myself.

There lies the problem with our fan base, shouldn’t take until next year it’s been obvious since end of April price isn’t the man to win us the grand final. He’s dropped the ball big time and should carry the fan as a result. We shouldn’t tolerate mediocrity!

The board seem to be very ruthless and no nonsense when it comes to players, particularly coming towards the end their contracts/end of their rugby careers. I don’t think the same goes for our head coaches based on recent history.

| By virtue of the Challenge Cup win this has been a successful season.
However, we have regressed as a team significantly compared to last year. Losing 11 out of 16 is something a coach can get away with if its the second half of the season and they have started off well. If we had started the season in that form the coach would have likely been sacked mid season.
A year ago, despite finishing trophyless, I felt like we were considerably better at the end of 2018 than we were at the end of 2017. Now I feel we're more back where we were at the end of the TS era in 2017. Price will keep his job but we'll have to get back on track in 2020.
When we signed Widdop there was a lot of excitement, people saw him as the cherry on the cake who was going to take us that extra step towards being a Grand Final winning team. Now I think we need a lot more than Widdop to take us in to that territory. We need about 3 top class players to come in and I don't think that will happen.

Minimum 3 too Sally, king can’t draw a man let alone put a winger away, impact prop and a second row that can break a tackle ( as currie and Hughes have proved they’re not that type of second row keep one bin one)

| I'm struggling to find a compelling reason as to why Price as head coach in 2020 will yield any better results. But he'll keep his job and we will have to watch the inevitable car crash play out in slow motion through the first half of 2020.

You could also say this is a problem with our fan base as we have zero patience anymore, he's taken us to 3 out of 4 finals in 2 years and won one of them. Next year if nothing changes then i'll agree to the above, but look at leeds awful one year and fighting for survival then dominated the next year with the same coach. I'll give him another season before i make a final decision.

| Make an offer to Watson that he can't refuse and let him have carte blanche to bring in whatever coaching set up he wants. If it means Briers and Westwood don't get a look in, the it's "so long" from me with a big thanks for all you both did for my team as a player.
If Price is still here next year it won't matter if Widdop brings over the best from the NRL coz we still won't win the Grand Final.
If we play the same next year, I for one won't be in attendance (and based on tonight's attendance, neither will a lot of other folk)

Brian McDermott won 8 honours with Leeds including 4 GFs and a WCC, this bought him some patience from the board. So I don't think the comparison with Price is fair.
Price would be sacked by Wigan or Saints based on the last 3 months league form. Leeds got rid of Furner after 14 games. Big clubs make big decisions.
But Wire, and some fans it seems, accept mediocrity. You get the coach and results you deserve.

| AGREED. Wires71 and a few others have been lambasted for years for this view. Either we stop arrising around playing at it or we make a serious (non salary cap intrusive) play for one of the worlds best coaches. We have to win the GF! Thats what all this has been about and we're ten years down the line playing godawful teams and still losing. SORT IT.

| Last night ended our 2019 campaign and should end the tenure of SP.
Messer's Moran and Middleton should be right into Fitzpatrick as his staff have completely let down the club, an elimination play off and only 5.5k fans turn up that shows what the Wire fans think of the current team and its style of play.
The messiah Briers, what effort has he put into Patton, clearly zero.
The current starting 17 have no real back up of any quality, who on earth thought it was a good idea to hand out a contract extension to Sita, for crying out loud he only has stamina for 10 mins a week.
SP and his coaching team must be fired and new blood brought in, we have time on our side after that load of garbage last night.

| Emphasis on defence in much of the early periods largely contributes to falling behind to a opposition try. I can't recall a season being like this. If I wasn't a 1st try scorer punter, I wouldn't be so bitter and observant of it.
The whole sum is to score more points than the opposition...chasing the game almost every week doesn't help our causing.
Under TS we didn't take defence as important as attack and always tried to out score them.
Under Price it's the opposite...out defend the opposition and then get some field position and hope we can score from the area and fatigue of the opposition....we're a proper prop short of smothering out across a season...we've all said so all season.

| Very true that Mr Duck. It is a regular occurrence these days for us to be playing catch up rugby. One of our main problems seems to be making ground in possession ,Cas went 90 yards on a set of six to get their second try ,& most games this season making yardage with the ball has been a problem for us for one reason or another, as a result we are turning possession over in the wrong areas of the field & putting ourselves under more pressure.
But,thankfully, that result has made it impossible to paper over any more cracks. Btw ,the kick at goal from half way ,was that a Hill decision because he seemed to be get very involved in what was going on ?

That's cos we're getting dominated in the tackle, opposition are getting through the line and fairly quick play the balls, couple that with the slow line speed, 2 steps then stop, its no wonder props can get past and land on their fronts.
Bods were getting excited by them big hits from BMM last night, its pointless, we didn't follow that up as a team, and it was too little too late from him, especially going forward, its amazing how easy he seems to be to tackle now.
