Also, it was a day so cold it would have sent an Eskimo sprinting to the nearest double-glazing showroom. In fact, it was so cold at half-time I urinated on my hands to try and warm them up. Not only did this fail to do the trick, and resulted in severe chaffing, but also meant I had to douse myself in deodrant before being allowed back in the car with my mates for the (long) journey home.

You never learnt your lesson though, I remember you pouring red hot tea on yourself a half time at Odsal once to try and keep warm............I wouldn't have minded but it meant I only got half a cup of tea instead of a full one, and that was when a cup of tea was the most enjoyable thing about visiting Odsal.

Halifax away 2002, 5 Briers drop - goals, and Daryl Cardiss winning it for them in the last minute... I think it was only half way through the season but that convinced me we were doomed to go down. Thankfully I was wrong. Huddersfield away in 2001, I think they scored 50 for the first time in Super League that day, we were abysmal, absolutely abysmal.

We played Halifax three times that season and Briers scored 30 points in total, 6 of which were from drop goals.
