| Quote: SaintsFan "On the link provided earlier in the thread, the figure for the West Stand also includes the 'executive section'. Presumably there are some kind of reserved tickets there or something for away people? Or just people who have secured executive facilities regardless of who is playing?
I can confirm that the East Stand is for Saints fans throughout the season as my season ticket is for the East Stand (unreserved seating and cheaper than the other stands!).'"
As far as I can remember, the exec seating is in the South Stand, the West Stand is exactly like the East Stand but bigger, which is why I questioned the stand allocation for Saints season ticket holders. Didn't someone post that the reason Saints got the East Stand was that the facilities were better in the East Stand?

If you click on the link in the previous page taking you to the Halton site then you will see a reference to 'executive' section (or some other word for 'section'; I can't be bothered clicking on it again) in the West Stand. I have no idea why the allocation is smaller than the capacity of the stand; I simply suggested that the existence of an executive something or other may be the reason.
Quote: Rogues Gallery "Didn't someone post that the reason Saints got the East Stand was that the facilities were better in the East Stand?'"
They might have but whether that is true or not is another matter. All of the Halton's facilities are superior to Knowsley Road, that goes without saying, but if the East Stand's facilities are superior to the West Stand's then heaven knows what the West Stand's facilities are like! Basic, to say the least. I hope our new stadium doesn't look like concrete bunkers!

there could be a lot of people (ie not saints fans) in that stand so might wait, see if i can get a wire ticket after the ST have a go. If not assess how many are going in the saints end and buy a ticket.

| 40% of saints fans who went to Knowsley Road have never ventured out of St Helens in their life, so won't be going all the way to Widnes

| Warrington will be given the whole of the West Stand. The initial release of 2,500 tickets will generate immediate sales due to the "panic" and "outrage" that will spread across the internet's messageboards. This will give the club some nice cash flow for a few weeks.
The remainder of the tickets will be "released" once the majority of the initial 2,500 are sold.
I also understand that the seats being held-back are the ones covered in bird-e and dust as the only times they have been used in the last 4 years were when we went there for our semi-final maulings of Wigan and Catalans.

Is the 2 semi finals the only time the halton stadium has sold out.

Once, when Basil sent a bunch of teenagers to your place.
You haven't beaten our first team in 15 years. But I can see you doing it now that both Longy AND Cunningham have gone.
