Do us all a favour than and ignore the wendyball and stick with a real sport. Seriously, we don't have a good record against Quins at the HJ and we'll be at least a bit rusty not having played to date, so I'd settle for two point even if we have to grind out a win.

Erm, yes we do.

Our record at the HJ against Quins is 4-2. Wins in '04, '05, 06 and last season with defeats in '07 and '08.

So our record is actually quite good at home against them.

Think we'll grab the two points but they won't be a pushover, the massacre we received at their hands last season still makes me shudder now. We're notoriously bad in some games against 'lesser' clubs, just hope we have the right attitude this season.

To appease the rubgy league world and ourselves we have to win by a good margin. We have to put to bed the mess that was the low point at the Stoop. Our new signings have to perform from day one! We cannot go through the wringer again with poor start and poor form from new (or existing) signings, it has to right day one. No excuses!!!!

Quins by 24.....

I agree with JWP. If it is a mudbath then it will be very close. Quins have turned us over at the HJ in poor conditions in the past and play those conditions very well. I hope that the crowd don't get on the backs of the likes of Myler / Atkins if we are not 20 up by half time.

There has got to be massive change tactically from the Wigan game,Smith has seen that and how he deals with it will be interesting. I hope to see more inventive play from the forwards.

As long as I have had a decent Sunday lunch before hand who cares! There's always Cas the week after.

They have a pack that was easily bullied, although their try-line defence was very good and disciplined. No one was sucked out of position, and Chad Randle was just starting to boss the game a little in the second half.

I expect a narrow win. Players taking time to gel and lack of match fitness will be a telling factor. 24-20.

Any news on LMS being banned or not? I would imagine red card sufficient but you never can tell. Big bonus for us if hes missing on a day that will be heavy under foot.
