I think we offered him a contract to be one of the coaches of and players for the reserves, not sure there was ever a first team contract on the table.

I hope that was the case anyway, I agree, I'm happy he didnt sign a deal for our first team squad.

The starting pack and bench pack is good enough to walk this league and crush everyone....like the highly acclaimed dominant successful smashing of a Saints team at Wembley....(with knobs on.) ...maintaining that strength with depth is something different.

The doninant pack wins games...backs decide by how much. A big good un, always beats a small good un.

Wire may take advantage when NRL clubs look to release players around March to comply with the NRL strict cap after realising they have gone over.
Wire may to bolster the middles if one becomes available and we require one...
Wire are fully aware we are a little lighter than they would have liked, but also happy with the pack we have.
NRL clubs are often willing to fund part of the released players wage.

Wire are pretty capped up as 6 players are on 200k or more. Clark is on a marquee eligible salary although not through the marquee ruling...but there is a little cap space left if opportunity from the NRL arises.

There may be a few opportunities arising from Saracens, they wouldn’t impact the cap!

I'd be delighted to be proved wrong, but if their transition & impact takes as long as Burrell's then I'd give them a miss.
