| I've really come to admire george King especially as he's only 21. Don't overplay him for the next couple of years. Top class potential. Can't see us keeping Cox even though he's done well imo given the level of expectation. Hill needs support and cooper / Dodds with sims should provide that with bennie, and Harrison/Bailey plus King.

I've got to agree regarding George King I've been critical at some games perhaps unfairly so in retrospect, given his age and level of exposure over the last couple of seasons. I've warmed to him in recent weeks
Carry on George....titter ye not

| This fixture has banana skin written all over it. I hope we keep the focus and intensity.

It does, they beat the Pies last week and some of their players will be at the end of contracts and want to convince Denis Betts they are worth another gig. Only a fully committed and focussed Wire will win.

| Rain forecast for Friday, hopefully we won't have a repeat of the derby performance a few years ago, was it 2012? Absolutely dire game, couldn't beat Widnes' 12 men.

BBC weather predict Sunny Intervals around game time.
I think Jordan Cox will leave this summer. I think we will have enough fire power up the middle to dispose of his services. George King for a 21 year old prop has been terrific this season. He had an excellent cup final and introduced the Chris Hill step into his game leaving a few Hull tacklers flat footed.

| Briers confirms Gidley will return in the halves, Ratchford back to fullback and Johnson to drop out.

| Would be disappointing given the positives from last weeks game (with the one major brain fart that almost cost us a try), but I can see that happening.

| So presumably Patton will be paired with Gidley, that's good news I think, playing with an old hand. Plus his goal kicking is a lot better than Gidley's.

| Considering there was nothing wrong with Ratch & Patton at halfback last week ,there could be some interesting rotational permutations available for this match with possibly trying Gidley at fullback or even starting hooker. We seem to have some good options approaching the final weeks of the season.

| I'd be disappointed if penny was to miss out this week. Toby King should stay at centre he showed some great maturity last week.

| As i thought. No Clark, i was told he may be out for 3 weeks from the CC final. So hopefully good to go for next week. Patton and Gids in the halves, Evans in for Penny. Ratch back to FB.

| As well as Ratchford and Patton going well last week I would also have last Johnson at full back and Penny on the wing. Leaving maybe a chance for Gidley at interchange hooker and I say maybe as Morgan Smith went okay too. Not a fan of the idea of him reverting to no wingers and Ratchford at full back
