Agreed, been a great servant to the club and was an important part of a team that has given us unprecedented success over the past four years.
Hope he doesn't go, but good luck to him

3076_1671446335.jpg SAINTS THE ORIGINAL AND PERENNIAL CHEATS
For sale full Saints kit (circa 1989). Shirts in pristine condition, but shorts badly soiled.
For 27 - 0 you get a trophy
For 75 - 0 you get sod all.
Wigan had eight in a row
Saints have five in a row:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_3076.jpg |

Terrible, he'll be the oldest player at Wigan. Still there'll be at least eight older than him at Warrington, and a similar number at Saints.
He's a mere child compared to some of those.

| I think wood would be a solid signing myself. He would give us a decent front row in wood, Mossop, Prescott, flower, Lauaki, Taylor and Dudson all be fighting for 4 shirts. How would your front row look without him? Can you afford to lose him and do you have many front rowers coming through?

50086_1357229109.jpg [b:33tg3xj5]Me:[/b:33tg3xj5] I'm still reeling from the news that someone is considering watching the 1st and 3rd game on Saturday and NOT watching Warrington play. It's like being in Shea Stadium when the Beatles came to town and deciding to nip out for a fag.
[b:33tg3xj5]knockersbumpMKII:[/b:33tg3xj5] Is it FOOK, you're good but you're not THAT good, jesus you wanky fans need to get over yourselves, Beatles at the Shea in '65 was a once in a lifetime opportunity for some (despite the following years performance), you can watch a very good team in primrose & yellow play every week if you really wanted to but comparing it to one of the very best music groups of all time in an iconic stadia such as the shea is overegging your importance, you're not even the best team in SL atm:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_50086.jpg |

| Wane suggests there is nothing in the rumour. Then again, he probably doesn't get involved in complicated things like player recruitment and spends most of his time eating bananas and playing with Mossop's hair.

Brilliant. it would be a good move for Woody, he know's he is guaranteed a game at Wigan and it's his hometowm club so no doubt always been a dream of his.

| Good luck to Woody at his home town club, you have to wonder whether his personal life has effected his decision here.
A warning to Wigan though, the 2 previous 1st team players sold to them were Mark Hilton and Martin Gleeson and, Grand Final ring aside for Gleeson, look how they turned out.
As for a Wire point of view, I'd be more concerned if it was Moz, Carvell, Trent, Westwood, Hill or Harrison leaving which says it all really

| No smoke without fire? well there has certainly been a lot of smoke this past week for this not to be true.
I have to say that if the rumours are true then the signing of Paul Wood suggest to me that Shaun Wane feels that Wigan would benefit from more competition in the forwards, perhaps this has been made more of an issue since the departure of Hock.
Personally I don't think the signing of Wood can do any harm and will at least add some competition to the squad but as some supporters have rightly pointed out on the Wigan forum perhaps releasing Stuart Fielden was a mistake? He certainly looked strong against St.Helens on Friday.
Most importantly though is the players mental health and I think the interview with Paul Wood published by State Of Mind was superb and it is fantastic that players at Warrington have Adrian Morley as their SOM ambassador.
Good luck to Paul Wood whatever he decides to do, the players health comes first so I just hope he is happy wherever he ends up.
Roll on Friday.
