| Transpennine Express for me too - how many non-Leeds fans do you reckon will be on the train between Leeds and Manchester? I'm trying to figure out if wearing my shirt without a coat will be a deathwish, given I live 200 yards from Headingley Stadium.
An interesting way of phrasing the post though. I still consider Warrington home, even though the rest of my family (not many of them to start with) have moved away too. I've only been back about half a dozen times in as many years, just for the rugby.

I phrased it that way because I too consider Warrington my real home, even though I left for the North East in the seventies when I went to Teesside Poly and never really came back. I've lived up here that long that some people think I've got a NE accent. Still love coming home though, just wish I could do it more often.

| Lived in London over a decade yet still see Wire as my home, even though i prefer London, i always enjoy the trip up and coming over Thelwall Viaduct, soon as i'm crossing that bridge i always think i'm home.

He's more off a Monaghan fan than a Wire fan though

| Well I suppose technically you could argue I'm an exile since I've lived in Runcorn for 5 years ... but considering it's just as quick to drive to Warrington town centre as it is to drive to Halton Lea (s***hole) it doesn't really feel like I am.

Was your username on the old wolfweb site JC or something like that? If so I think you were at a meetup we had and arranged through wolfweb at LA Bowl?

Get away from Old Trafford by 9 o'clock, you should be in Worthing by 2 (assuming you drive, and I'm guessing you live in Worthing). Alternatively there's a flight out of Manchester to Heathrow at 10 Saturday night.

It was, and I was there! I was JC exiled at Stockton on Tees. We actually all met up at Wilderspool one evening for a few beers from what I can remember.

| Aha, yeah thought so And yeah, it was at Wilderspool (The LA Bowl one must have been a separate meet), watched some videos of good wins we'd had so far that season IIRC.

Dubai
How about who will be travelling the shortest distance?
I will start; 1.5 miles (driving distance) - 1.2 miles (as the crow flies).
Pre-game drinks will be hosted at my flat.
I presume this means I am an 'exiled supporter'!

| Our gang of glory-hunters numbers somewhere between eight and eleven, none of whom live in Warrington.
We will be converging on Manchester, a-la the opening titles of Dad's Army, from Crewe, Huddersfield, Leeds and Ealing. Plus a possible two from Istanbul.
None of us are season-ticket holders.
None of us went to Langtree Park.
All of us will be completely unfashionable.
We have though watched year after year of tripe in our earlier years and we'd like the True Fan Committee to consider this when reaching a judgement.

| Quote: Wirefan "One things for sure.. The financial problems which prevented half our fans from attending against Saints and Hull at home in the playoffs will simply melt away this week. Amazing.'"
What are the minimum qualifications with regards to whether people can attend next Saturday's match?
I'm thinking of taking my dad as a bit of a treat for him, but he hasn't been near a rugby ground for about 10 years.....I presume that he is not allowed to attend, or, at the very least, will have to be labelled clearly so he can be identified as a gloryhunter?
Also, I have missed quite a few games this year, simply because I have a life outside of supporting Wire - Should I go and sit with the other unloyal fans??
Any advice would be welcome, cheers, Dita....xx
