exactly HY and that comes under 'playing form' not the junk that has been spouted above!

| It was a shock at first but Jon Clark for all the stick he got is a player who can tackle.

Was it? I can't recall Tony Smith ever confirming this.

In the pre-match build up interview on the BBC he said (to paraphrase, I can't remember the exact wording) "Richie's got a few areas to work on at the moment, a lot of teams have been bullying him a bit lately"

| Why would he, look at the games previous to that final, he was getting targeted when we defended the goal line. His defence at the time was the weakest aspect of his game, and Leeds of 2010 were a lot better than this team and would have exploited that, the only logical conclusion to that was his suspect defence(at the time it was) was the reason he was dropped. Before the game everyone thought it was going to be tough and tight, and i'm sure TS was looking for the strongest defensive team he could.
Hey i could be wrong but i'd like to think my theory was better than some of the other conspiracy theories on here.
Why do you think he was dropped PY?

I think TS was resting him for last Saturday. And you have to admit he looked fresh and put in a great performance.

| Myler had played from round 1 to 13 against Salford, he was then injured.
Then played from round 20 to round 26 (the game before the final)
He was then dropped from the final.

If you go on Southstander you'll see that the Leeds match report has Briers kicking to Monaghan. They probably couldn't believe it was Myler.

| A support player and nothing more. He backs up well but can't tackle, kick or pass. Nowhere near the quality of Sam Tomkins or Kyle Eastmond as a scrum-half.

Hardaker might disagree over tackling, Joel Monaghan over kicking, Brett Hodgson ( and others ) over passing. Apart from that, you're right ( except about Tomkins and Eastmond ).

| Amazing piece of skill .Wondering what the Sky commentators would of said about it if it was a certain Mr Tomkins who came up with that play?

47600_1370068151.jpg The Autumn Wind is a pirate
Blustering in from sea,
With a rollocking song, he sweeps along,
Swaggering boisterously.
His face is weather beaten.
He wears a hooded sash,
With a silver hat about his head,
And a bristling black mustache.
He growls as he storms the country,
A villain big and bold.
And the trees all shake and quiver and quake,
As he robs them of their gold.
The Autumn Wind is a raider,
Pillaging just for fun.
He'll knock you 'round and upside down,
And laugh when he's conquered and won.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_47600.jpg |

| Watch how he carries the ball compared to three years ago, looking to create more now. Starting to look a little Joeyesque, only a little.
