Do you have any evidence to back up any of the points you have made?

You merit that by calling it a point?

| Leeds are beyond doubt, both by wealth of investors/board and rugby related income. Their average home crowd is head and shoulders above ours.

Don't think so,it's no coincidence that your team has moved on a bit since Moran became involved, that withstanding your last published accounts show you made a loss of £212,000. So without him as a sugardaddy you would be knackered.

As an analyser of financial results and statistics etc I would just like to point out that your linked comments have no reflection on each other whatsoever. Many premier league teams make profits but are in debt. Anybody can make there accounts show a loss if they wanted to. Accounting provisions, guestimates etc have no bearing on financial strength.

Ok then, Padders said that if Leeds lost Carnegie they would be stuffed, but if Wire were to lose Moran they would still make money.Where is the proof of this? Without your sugardaddy there would be no big headline grabbing signings of players or big name coach, without them, smaller crowds, smaller turnover, even bigger loss.Get what i mean now? I know it is possible to make figures reflect what you want them to,obviously, look at your live salary cap.

By developing a spine of world class Wigan-born players and turning also-rans into world beaters? That would be the answer

| It wouldnt matter if Wakey had Abramovich as owner. Other than fund them a new ground and spend up to the cap what could he spend the money on?
To look at real wealth as a club surely it means profitable (as any idiot can chuck money without gain), I'm sure I've heard that only two SL clubs make a profit over the years - Leeds and Hull FC.
In our Whelan days our losses were approx 500k pa, due to spending up to (and over) the cap, no sponsorship gain from JJB as shirt sponsors, transfer fees, lack of merchandising income..etc. Since IL came in he has reduced our losses to about 150k (we did spend 100k on Gleeson), we also slowly have improved merchandising and sponsorship plus we have a superb rental agreement with the Stadium Company. We should be looking at break even / small profits year on year, that's without any prize money that may come our way.
