| Hope Phil Kinsella watched the tries on sky sports news tonight. How can a player pass a ball from behind a white line to a player who receives the ball in front of said white line? Twice!

Momentum rule.
Seriously though, I agree: Saints have never got away with forward passes.

Enjoy your little flirt with success. It'll be interesting to see if the Warrington youth system can produce enough quality to turn it into a sustained period at the top or whether it's just a blip in your history of mediocrity.'"
Saints where awfull again ? You really do need to grow up mate.
FWIW Excellent performance from the S today. Just shaded out by a decent Hull KR outfit. Hopefully we can get a couple of bodies back for our meeting next week.

Two blatant forward passes, penalty count was a disgrace.
We were robbed."

I heard this too, amused me greatly. I'll bet that fan wasn't ringing in and moaning all those times Saints have won games through the referee
They just can't hack losing a few games. In 5 years they'll be like Wigan fans are now: inflated sense of themselves because they were successful once upon a time

I didn't say anybody did like losing. What I said was Saints fans can't hack it: meaning they can't handle it. Liking something and being able to handle it are two different things.

Defeat hurts. For some people it can be the difference from them having a good week to having an absolute stinker. I never went, i received text messages from my mates as i was in work but when i got that last message i was gutted.
I could pull out a number of Wire fans posts who blamed the ref when you was defeated by Wigan. It happens! To tarnish all Saints fans because dome old geezer as had a moan is quite ammusing. I think you'll find most Saints fans are over the moon with our effort today.

| Typical saints blaming injuries not that the other team was better. They really do annoy me. How about we had the pivot of our team missing today with us having no 1,6,7 and you could say 9 as he was covering 7. They need to accept other teams are able to beat anyone on there day.

Balloon. I am as typically cynical as most Warrington supporters but somehow something has changed with them. The whole atmosphere around the club has altered, and this isn't a 'blip'.

| Perhaps the referee should dump that little earpiece that connects him with the other officials, and replace it with a 1950's 'wireless' receiving match commentry from Ray French!
I actually almost felt embarrassed for the majority of Saints fans whilst listening to Sid and his ramblings on forward passes, penalty counts and robbery. Radio Merseyside should pick him up and sit him next to their own bumbling old fool in the commentry box. Would be like fanzone commentry on Sky (do they still do that?).

your last cup winnning side (when you were good):
St Helens: Wellens, Gardner, Gidley, Talau, Meli, Pryce, Long, Hargreaves, Cunningham, Graham, Wilkin, Flannery, Sculthorpe.
Replacements: Gilmour, Roby, Clough, Fa'asavalu.
Wires Last cup winning side:
Warrington: Mathers; Riley, King, Bridge, Hicks; V Anderson, Briers; Morley (capt), Monaghan, Carvell, L Anderson, Westwood, Harrison.
Subs: Cooper, Johnson, Higham, McCarthy.
pick out the players coming through the youth system in both teams

Cunningham, Graham, Roby and Wellens are all internationals and I can only see Harrison of that level of quality in your list.
It wasn't a criticism btw, i have no idea how good your youth system is at the moment.

| I listened to that Saints guy on GMR and thought he was the best thing I've heard on the radio in ages. The rest of the callers seemed to be suicidal Salford fans and the very downbeat Sale RU Coach. It's going to be a race between him and Sean McRae for the Greater Manchester heat of the Sack Race. Mind you, one Salford fan did make one very relevent comment. Does what does Steve Simms do?
