| Roberts controlled the game with a very good display...especially his kicking game.

| Saints are by far the best team in the comp this season. I would like to get them in the semis to hopefully get them out of the way. I wouldn't like to have them at Wembley.

| Out of the big three, in our recent finals we've played Leeds x3 and Wigan x2 but not met saints once; it would potentially be a great final. That said, Saints do look to be the stand out team and despite our good win today, I think they would be firm favourites if we were to hypothetically meet them next week.

I wouldn't say Saints would be'firm favourites'! Marginally perhaps.

It's a whole 2 months away anything could happen especially with injuries. Barba is the player making them the stand out team and if he was to be out for any reason then can't see why we couldn't win. Harder with him in the team but not impossible

| Get with the programme people. We only won yesterday because Wigan were the worst team in the world to play rugby league since Bath in the cross code challenge.

After fifty years supporting the Wire I'm no wide-eyed optimist but, Captain, you need to get real. Wire simply did not let Wigan play yesterday and when we had the ball our rate of offloads meant that we turned many sets of six into sets of seven or eight. By half-time Wigan had made almost twice as many tackles as Wire. We'd knackered them. Credit is still due to Wigan that their instinctive defence kept us down to just seven points in the second half.

We just nilled Wigan for the first time in God knows how long and knocked them out of the cup two weeks after they mullered us, yet people are still able to have a moan?!

There is absolutely no way I want to play Warrington in the final. I would rather lose in the semi. We may be top but Warrington are on fire!!!

The grand final defeats to Wigan hurt much more than loss to Leeds, but, losing in a final against saints after that hoodoo would be the worst ever. Only beating you in a final for a trophy would make up for those last minute defeats a bit, but it would be a horrible day unless we won. To be fair it would be a rotten day for one set of fans and made worse by it being absolutely glorious for the other set no matter which side of the fence you're on. It would be great for the neutrals, still it's not happening yet, I reckon we'll get you at Bolton if you beat Hull.

Sorry Asgardian, thought it was obvious that I wasn’t serious just highlighting what opposition fans (Wigan and Saints predominantly) were saying.

Agree with this; in which case a potential game against saints in the final would be a bit like a game of double or quits on roulette. I would be happy to take the gamble!
