Don't you just love our coach selecting players out of position. If he goes with Livett and Smith in key pivot positions tonight we are likely to get absolutely murdered.
But our mighty leader will again escape criticism as he has a ready made excuse.

Personally if I was coach, I'd pick Gidley as full back as we can't leave Russell there. I'd pick Gidley at half back as we can't have two youngsters there. I'd pick Gidley at hooker as we can't trust Dwyer.

Today`s Warrington Guardian confirms that on 15th December 1974 was the last time that a Wire halfback combination by two Warrintonians was by Johnny Lowe & Wilf Briggs,prior to Patton & Livett last Friday |
