They could have built one into the south east corner rather than the superfluous gap full of overpriced food I'm yet to see anyone buy that we have instead. Something like the club at Widnes or the bar at Langtree would be fantastic. It's not exactly like we are spoilt for choice in town.

| There are lots of empty bars in town. Many if them keep shutting down for some other person to follow and lose on them too.

Our prices are ridiculous. As an aside, we are crying out for a proper supporters bar.'"
Whilst I agree that a supporters bar is a good thing, the one at Salford is good with its covers band playing prematch and programme sellers it works because there is nothing else in the vicinity (about to change) so helps combat the car park issues and match day 'rush hour' before and after the game
We are 'blessed' with quite a few pubs within a stones throw of the HJ so don't know whether it would work as well as AJBell/Langtree/LSV

| Apart from beer, the price of tea and coffee is outrageous, as is water. I can buy water from the supermarket for 50p rather than pay £1.50 in the ground. Try and rip me off if you want, but don't expect us all to fall for it.
I don't drink beer by the way, or drink in the day.

| I dont agree with the prices but do like a pint at the match so I pay it. I must spend at least £20-£30 a time in the concourse as the kids are always mithering for crap which costs a bomb too.

| Water, sweets, crisp, pop for the kids .........if it cost too much inside, buy it from Tesco and take it in with you.
The only things banned are cans of pop, glass bottles, any alcohol and any take-away food from chippies etc. OK, turn up with a full blown picnic and want to eat it in the in-goal area you might get a few stern words but I have never seen anybody have an issues with taking a carrier bags of sandwiches and Panda Cola for the kids.

| £3.60 for a pint of flat carlsberg is disgusting. I wish they would offer a nicer beer, I could keep calm about £3.60 for a fosters or a carling

Are you employed by the club, out of interest?

Do you moan when the team looses, because it has poor players?
Money makes the world go round.
The more money the club makes, the more it can pay on salaries and transfer fees.
With mingebags like you, and others on here, the club is doomed to mediocrity.

| To be fair, the price of drinks at other sporting events, most gigs (larger venues certainly), the pictures etc. are all extortionate particularly for soft drinks.
Even Saintly Wetherspoons charge you more for a pint of coke than a pint of cask ale, which is ridiculous - the mark up must be astronomical.
Personally, I do my drinking before the match but if people really want a pint during it, then they can expect to pay top whack same as at other entertainment.

I don't think anyone is disputing that. My gripe is that apart from Perpignan and Barnet (40p more for Estrella Damm) we have the most expensive prices in the sport.
If anyone has deep pockets, you are best giving Cue Gardens outside Odsal a miss on Sunday!

| I will be saving my trip to Bratfurd for the CC, but, anyone interested in cheap decent beer need look no further than a local cricket club two minutes walk away from the ground past the open end, big roundabout turn right follow your nose.
I don't know where Cue Gardens is but by the sound of it where snooker meets horticulture at a price it seems best avoided

| You should give the Top House pub a try. Quite welcoming for away fans (even us!) and the landlady keeps a decent pint. The had real ale, porter and the usual bottled ciders etc. They have a mural on the wall of Odsal from days of yore and I believe you lot are on it from the 54 Cup Final. Some of you might be able to spot yourselves in the crowd!
