| Higham for me a great game especially some of his defence at marker.
But I'm lost on the Waterhouse nominations.....Maybe I'm expecting more, but i dont think he has filled Louis Andersons boots yet.

| 1. Myler
2. Higham
3. Briers
I think t says a lot about the quality of the team last night that Myler AND Higham are being raved about on this thread.
Higham was good in defense and his usual boring in attack. Was lucky not to be spotted on a couple of niggly things (the most obvious being the ball steal in front of the ref) I cannot beleive that in this day and age a team let Higham do his one trick. But he played well, if we can have that sort of Jon Clarke performance from him every week, i'll be happy.
Myler really led well through and is fulfilling all I predicted he would.
Briers saved us in the second half. Kicking was super.

50086_1357229109.jpg [b:33tg3xj5]Me:[/b:33tg3xj5] I'm still reeling from the news that someone is considering watching the 1st and 3rd game on Saturday and NOT watching Warrington play. It's like being in Shea Stadium when the Beatles came to town and deciding to nip out for a fag.
[b:33tg3xj5]knockersbumpMKII:[/b:33tg3xj5] Is it FOOK, you're good but you're not THAT good, jesus you wanky fans need to get over yourselves, Beatles at the Shea in '65 was a once in a lifetime opportunity for some (despite the following years performance), you can watch a very good team in primrose & yellow play every week if you really wanted to but comparing it to one of the very best music groups of all time in an iconic stadia such as the shea is overegging your importance, you're not even the best team in SL atm:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_50086.jpg |

You did once upon a time. Although I suppose by referring to 'backing' you might be making a passive aggressive reference to Simon Moran and sugar daddy. Granted, he's helped but there are plenty of other factors that have contributed to where Warrington are today.

1883.jpg Didn't William Webb Ellis pick up the ball and run, someone should really tell Rugby Union.

In what way?
He is a different animal to Louis. Sucking in defenders and letting the ball go is a lot less spectacular than skittling people. I think he brings a good balance to what Westwood offers.

| Higham worked his socks off which was good to see.
Myler just gets better every game.
Not one stand out individual last night.
As for Waterhouse give him time and we will see the best of him

| 1. Higham
2. Myler - What a change from a couple of seasons ago when teams could really target him defensively.
3. Ratchford - Showed some great footwork at times.
As for Waterhouse, I thought he had a pretty good game. I think it's easy to underestimate his influence - it always seems to take three or often four defenders to bring him down which helps to create gaps in the line elsewhere and tire the opposition out. I think it's been pretty noticeable that Wire have seemed fitter than the opposition in matches this year which is very impressive when you consider the two early injuries in the Huddersfield game and the last two matches where we weren't dominating possession.

| Waterhouse is just a defender magnet, he takes 3 or 4 in every time, the guy creates space, how many times have we seen Atkins running in to space this season, i think he's fantastic.

| Getting a bit tedious to watch teams target Myler in defence especially on our own line. He is doing okay though considering is lack of size.
Higham was best for us and I bet no-one would have picked him as a potential MoM before the match! Still far behind Monas though particularly in terms of vision.

I did! I posted Higham for MOM on Facebook on Thursday. There is absolutely no question he is not as good as Monas - but who is? The slating he has been getting on here is ridiculous and I hope there were a few wire fans squirming on Saturday with the realisation they had very unfairly written off a good (not great, admittedly but not poor either) player.

| 1 Waterhouse
2 Myler
3 Higham
Good team effort, playing the 2nd half with two interchanges again. Pitch looked like they had been planting spuds in it.

He played well but it wasn't a Monas or Roby quality. It was barely Mcclorum quality.
He was playing a Jon Clarke in a game where the team didn't click. He was still niggly, he still did his one trick (lucky it came off) and he was still lacklucter at attacking.
Although he defended well and, seen as though he didn't get caught, that ball steal was amusing, but that wasn't anywhere near a championship display from him.
We need a new hooker at the end of the year. I like the guy, I like his enthusiasm but we need someone new.
