What about using Burgess at prop instead of Bailey, and then bringing Westwood in. |

Burgess is too good for prop. He is probably our best forward, dont think he should play out of position in all honesty. On top of that Burgess playing in the second row would give us more presence against the bigger stronger aussie backs. Helping out with tackling out wide etc...
I know this might spark up an argument, but i dont think westwood is good enough too force Burgess, ellis out to get into the starting 13. Burgess and ellis are bigger stronger and fitter, and it shows when they played for england against france. I dont even think Westwood is good enough to push joel tomkins out the 17, but if either of the three got injured, he'd be the first i'd bring in.
I think Ben westwood would get torn to shreds against the likes of Folau, Inglis, Hodges, Lyon, Morris brothers, Tonga etc... Joel is quicker than Ben Westwood which is why i'd play him as our second row of the bench. |
