| Monaghan can play at 6 with Higham at no.9, this shouldnt cause too many problems.

Don't put him back in the halve at all cost, not least because he's quality at hooker, as he was last night.
I'd look at Grix or Vinnie as a better option at stand off. If Hicks was fit, Mathers even.

but monas is alot more effective at 9 than higham, like jwp say`s i can't see smith moving monas and we'll probably go with grix or vinnie at 6.

you'll change the whole shape of the side with that, too much disruption.
Grix to 6, but with more responsibility.

| Can see Clarke coming into contention now if he moves Monas. Hope not as Monas offers more at 9

Not that he's fit, but if he was, I'd play him at six.

| Quote: wwolves02 "Quote from Tony Smith on sky says it's ankle ligament damage...least 3 weeks out I reckon!
If its ligament damage then 3 weeks is being very optimistic....Would be more likely to be 3 months depending on the severity of the damage.
Ligaments are a nightmare in terms of giving a definite recovery period...At least with a clean break of a bone its just a matter of the healing process taking place. With a ligament injury there has to careful diagnosis just to simply evaluate the severity of the injury.
A simple strain would probably be 2-4 weeks, anything worse could be a whole season out in the worst case scenario.

| Grix at 6 for me, he's had a few games there in the past and looked good. Not a fan of Vinnie in the halves, as you need some sort of kicking game, something Vinnie doesn't have. Maybe another possibilty, hasn't Solomona played at 6 a few times for Wakefield or Bradford?

| Because briers isn't responsible for us conceeding points. We didn't need to score any more, just stop them doing it.
