I think I'm right in saying through, that 2007 was the first Challenge Cup Final at the new Wembley, which probably boosted the attendance.

Previous attendances were over-inflated with the whole of the club wembley middle tier included in the attendance when it was 99% deserted.

Middle Tier accounts for 16,532 seats. When I last went to Wembley in 2016 I'd say it was sp but not deserted.

We have fallen a long way in 30 years. The 1988 CC Cup Final between Wigan and Halifax attracted 94,273. And that was real bums on seats.

Top tier definitely closed and fans being moved. We were originally in block 502 then moved us to 142 at the Cats end. Complained this morning directly to the RFL and all 7 of us a now in Club Wembley in the Bobby Moore suite.

I usually stick up for our game but this is nothing short of amateur, no communication no updates on social media at all and now just over 48 hours before a major final people are finding out they are being moved, theyll be people arriving on Saturday with no idea they've been moved.

I am not sure exactly how much difference it would make but is the timing sometimes possibly a contributory factor. The semi and final are quite close together. This could more likely affect the number of Les Cats supporters coming over as they only have 2 weeks to sort out what can be more difficult travel arrangements.
Possibly a bigger gap between semi and final might enable a bit of build up and attract more casual fans. People who may be swayed by who is in the final. More thinking time might get more curious walk ups.
