| They should play both in Lancashire. After all there are no Lancy teams left in the cup.

| Could have our semi at Saints really, more appropriately sized for it than Huddersfield.

There aren't many (if any) Lancashire teams in Rugby League full stop. I actually can't think of a single one off the top of my head going down four or five divisions of teams I can remember.

Just looked it only holds just over 10,000 too small I'd imagine foe Wire v Leeds. We will need at least a 12-13,000 stadium.

| Hudds out?
Good, at least Leeds will have to travel a bit further this time.

Great idea that, shame the powers that be won't try something outside the box!

I mentioned exactly the same thing on the coach on the way back from the game.
Too much common sense from the RFL though. I'm waiting for them to announce that one of the semi finals will be played at the Gilbert Brutus in Perpignan.

The BBC wouldn't agree to having that many hours back to back coverage. Don't think I would like it myself. Remember how huge 2009 was for us, it will be exactly the same for either Cas or Widnes. I don't think it would be the same as a double header with the players being rushed off so the next lot could warm up. You'd then be absolutely buzzing and probably wouldn't want to sit watching another game when you could be heading home to book the train or celebrating in the pub.

I didn't mean back to back though. I meant both games at the same venue, not necessarily one after each other. I didn't make myself clear in my original post.
Do agree with what you say though. The winning fans would want to stay in after the game has finished and celebrate reaching the final, the wouldn't want to be rushed out so that the next teams fans can be herded in.

Ah right sorry. Does anyone know how it works? Ie does Red Hall identify and approach stadia or do they bid for it.
As an aside, the next time Catalans reach a semi final it should be held in Avignon!
