| The club have announced the end of the Brookson sponsorship deal on the Club website. Paving the way for a new sponsorship for 2014.

Not being funny but what's the benefit of that? As long as the deal is ok'd by the Board who cares. I can't imagine the deal being like the Stobart deal with the RFL.

If this is correct, then it's just the type of sponsor that RL really needs.

I am interested to know how much they are getting. They announced the value of the recently re-negotiated catering contract. If they are getting a lot more money from Emirates, then it's really good news for us.

| If it is a big deal they should say how much. Helps up the value of the club commercially.

| The tone of the announcement on the Club Site suggests that something has been on the cards for a considerable time.

| From the conversation 6 months ago, it seems like it was always going to happen, but they weren't sure how it would pan out. Glad it's been ironed out, as it's always a major bonus to have Global brands involved.

Your not wrong. This will be a great bit of business by the Club and one that will help finance the future. We can't and shouldn't stand still. We now need to look to the future and embrace what the club are doing to keep us at the top end of SL.

| Well personally, the sooner they get the stadium naming rights the better.
I cannot stand the current name, its ruddy ridiculous and I have only ever referred it by HJ since day one.

| On a different note, has anyone heard about the former multi millionaire owner of Moonpig.com 'Nick Jenkins' offering to pay Simon Moran a large sum for Warrington RL, with Moran turning it down flatly?

I was talking to my lad about this last night. He hates the ground being called Halliwell Jones and thought Emirates is even worse. He calls it Wilderspool. I said you can't because Wilderspool is an area but he didn't care about that. We settled on calling the ground, The Winwick Road Stadium.
