About 15 wigan fans in the Rock when I got in there, singing a variety of songs rather loudly(including y warrington). I'd be surprised if one of them didn't get a dig. Sorry, they just get hit for doing nothing...my bad.

To be fair it's been reported in todays League Weekly that there were three separate attacks on Wigan fans after the match, a reporter from the paper was apparently walking back and witnessed them.

There were quite a bit of trouble in the Blue Bell. Don't know exactly what happened but the jist of it is that there was a huge kick off, dunno is it was opposing fans or just us lot fighting each other but the police all showed up and raided it, then closed it.

I'd love to be proved wrong but the Wolfs just refuse to let you down. It's a sorry state of affairs.

Some of the people standing outside the King's Head when I walked past looked like they'd been spawned in a petri dish, it was fairly obvious what they were waiting for. But that doesn't mean they were Warrington fans, none of them had any colours on for a start.

Most of the Wire fans we came across had a laugh and banter with us. There were a few n0bheads but every team has them. As soon as we got off the train in Warrington a group of about 6 lads walked up to my mate and said "Im gonna f*ckin t*at you after the game" which made us giggle. After the match walking back to Bank Quay station an old manc scrote was wandering the streets saying "you best get the f*ck out of here before you get filled in its like Millwall round here" to which 40/50 Wigan fans burst out laughing. A good day overall and will be going back in 2 weeks.

The "not Warrington fans" thing annoys me. If they were at the game (and I know you don't know if they were, but you don't know that they definitely weren't either) and supported Warrington they are Warrington fans.

It doesn't make any difference what they were wearing either. I haven't worn colours to any rugby or football match in years with the exception of the 2005 and 2007 European Cup Finals and 2009 Challenge Cup Final. What difference does that make? They weren't wearing Wigan colours were they?!

Just because someone doesn't fit into your replica shirt wearing, Tom Hark clapping image of "the family game" doesn't mean they don't support their team just as much as you do.

I'm not defending specific individuals who may well have just been bellends, I don't know them and they may well be exactly that. However they could also be normal lads who support Warrington who found themselves getting goaded by some lads who support Wigan and did something about it. Hardly the same as picking on innocent women and kids if that's the case is it?

you wouldn't help someone get some justice, if you watched them INNOCENTLY get 7 shades of 5h1t kicked out of them, if the attackers are wearing a team's colours.
